Hero police dog has won Bravery Award at Crufts after risking his own life to save his handler from a knife attack.

Back in May 2021, PD Kaiser and his handler, PC Mark Woolcott, joined officers in the search for an intruder. Locating the man, Kaiser tried to subdue him but was stabbed six times.

Despite his injuries, Kaiser was able to keep control of the man for long enough to allow officers to take hold of him.

Well done Kaiser, the ulti-mutt partner!
