Thanks everyone for your interest but it has now been SOLD.

Visitors to the rescue may remember our wonderful Rabbit villas. Well we now have one to sell, we do have it listed on our Ebay shop but wondered if any of you lovely bunny people may be interested, if you are please email us at [email protected]. '

'This Forsham Cottage Arks animal enclosure is a wonderfully constructed unit measuring 8' 1" deep x 6' 10" wide x 6' 8" high, it has strong weldmesh panels on both sides and either side of the door, it does have removable wooden panels that fit either side of the door and on one side of the unit, we have also fitted 18" high perspex panels along the bottom of the other side these again are removable. The door is fitted with 2 shoot bolts and a hasp and staple for security. We used lino on the floor for ease of cleaning this will also come with the unit. This building was used for housing rabbits and gives them a secure play area protected from predators and bad weather. It is in good solid used condition but as used has been nibbled (please see photos), also a couple of sections of the roof are showing signs of decay, (please see photos) it does not leak and can be repaired. We have now dismantled the building ready for collection but do have another identical which we are keeping so if you would like to see one erected please contact us.

This item is collection only, you will need a van to transport, the largest panel is the floor 8' 1" x 6' 10".

We are asking for offers in the region of £200. The funds from this sale are 100% Charity.

These four single bunnies are currently residing at Stepping Stones Cat Rescue but are all looking for their forever home. All four have been inside since October so while Cheddar & Saffron have been outside buns they won’t have warm coats on this year so would need to be in until the weather warms up.
If you are interested in giving any of these beauties a home please contact Lyndsey via the following email address [email protected]
CHEDDAR is a neutered male approx 2.5 years old. Cheddar had a broken leg as a baby. He’s fine now but one of his back legs sticks out a bit. It doesn’t bother him and the vet has given him a clean bill of health. (His vaccination status is being checked)
ONION is a young male bunny who was found in a park dumped in a box. He has been neutered but is still a bit humpy! (He hasn't yet been vaccinated)
SAFFRON is a female bunny age 2 year old Rex cross. Saffron is neutered and due jabs in Jan. She’s the least friendly of the 4 and is happiest charging around at full speed so she needs a lot of space.
SAGE is a young female. She was also found in a park having been dumped in a box. She would make an excellent house bun. She’s super friendly and jumps up onto the sofa to sit next to you. She also grunts when she’s excited for a treat

Timmy has permanently moved into the house with us and is happily living as a house rabbit, this has worked out really well, he is enjoying all the extra attention! We would never be able to re-home Timmy due to his health issues so this is our best option for him.

We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas from Bobtails and send our thanks to everyone for their support over 2022. Jim & Delia

Another update on our dumped bunny, we have named her Misty and she is currently having a great time with Lorraine, one of our foster carers. Happily she is not pregnant and will be spayed later in January, we are at this stage assuming she is not already neutered, she is a lovely girl and as you can see enjoys a cuddle!

Look what's arrived for Timmy, he'll have those in his stocking in the morning, thank you Santa!

A little update on the dumped bunny, we have named her Misty, she is currently with Lorraine one of our foster carers and is settling in well. We have sadly so far not had any response to our plea for some info about her, so we have vaccinated her and will keep an eye on her for any signs she could be pregnant.

I know times are hard but there is absolutely no excuse for abandoning an animal in this manner, she was left in a cardboard box not even in a secure carrier or in our porch, it was very lucky that one of us were here and she was not out there for long, we are not here all the time and by the time someone returned it may well have been dark and she would have been fox food, we have foxes around our area day and night!!! The doorbell was not pressed, not even an anonymous message left on any of the phones to let someone know she had been dumped. Please if you dumped this lovely rabbit, please give us some info, a letter, a message on our answer phone, withhold your number we would just like some more info about her. The box she was abandoned in says it all 'Who gives a crap'!
