Look at this handsome boy, Leo’s owners have travelled from Guernsey to us as his owners trust no one else.

K9 Training Services: Dog Training Centre of Excellence have had Leo in their residential programme previously he had extreme reactivity, working very hard to turn him into the dog he is today.

We now progress his training further alongside my K9 Training Services, to be around cats, off lead around other dogs as well as people. Follow to see his progress.

Introducing the muzzle for Ozzy🐾🐕

I’m a strong advocate for every dog being muzzle trained even if they show zero signs of aggression you just never know when your dog may need to wear one. Below are some examples that your dog may need to wear one even if it is showing no signs of aggression.

⚫️ Travelling to a different country depending on your dogs breed it maybe a requirement.

⚫️ Your dog is seriously injured and needs to be muzzled to stop the dog from lashing out when in pain.

⚫️ To help prevent scavenging

Having your dog comfortably muzzle trained can help prevent your dog being stressed when required to wear one.

These two have been trained by myself and K9 Training Services: Dog Training Centre of Excellence for two families, they are GSD from the same litter at 31 weeks old and trained for the purpose of personal protection.

These dogs have had the following training:

Sociable around people and dogs✅
Work with both male and female handlers✅

What do personal protection dogs look like? Well the number one thing they should be which most people miss is steady and social.

Buying a personal protection dog from a company you know very little about is a risk, you have no idea their breeding, their training, exposure or ability. The number one way we recommend training a personal protection dog is getting a puppy from good breeding and then start the foundations and develop them into what you want them to be with our training programme.
