Happy 16th Birthday Jasper & Dylan!
Born over the Perseids Jasper’s pedigree name meant shooting star, after the shooting stars I saw after they were born. For many years I’d look each year on their birthday and saw them. Not done this for a few years so tonight we shall look on their sweet sixteenth!

Happy International Cat Day

Today we celebrate International Cat Day with our beautiful Korats and Thais!

Recognised as one of the world’s oldest natural breeds, the Korat is admired for its distinctive silver-blue coat, luminous green eyes, heart-shaped face, and affectionate, intelligent nature. The Thais share the affectionate, intelligent nature and heart shaped face but come in a couple of colours; the Thai Lilac with a beautiful warm pinky-beige coat tipped with silver and large clear green eyes, the Thai Blue Point with an off white body, blue points tipped with silver and captivating blue eyes and the Thai Lilac Point with a sleek white coat with lilac points tipped with silver, and striking blue eyes. Beyond their striking appearance, Korats and Thais are valued for the close bonds they form with their families and their enduring, gentle temperament.

Korats have been cherished for centuries as symbols of good fortune, love, and prosperity. Those of us lucky enough to share our lives with them know just how special they are. There is no other breed better!

Beautiful Maia went for her booster today and does not think that her supplementing her set meals with the other cats left overs really makes that much difference that she was classed as overweight for the first time ever today! I am going to have to get faster at grabbing the bowls before she dives in 🤣.
