Get ready with Charlie, one of our regulars at Hound & Co West Dulwich as we spruced him up ready for his appearance on the Good Morning Britain sofa today! 🐾

Shirley Ballas and Charlie were on today to promote the wonderful new ‘For Every Kind’ campaign by the RSPCA to mark 200 years of the charity’s service to animals, urging people to contribute to 1 million acts of kindness to mark this special milestone in the history of the RSPCA 💙

Charlie was clearly taking it all comfortably in his stride today, but he has not always lived such a pampered lifestyle - he was rescued a few years ago from a shelter in the US with several broken bones, and was about to be euthanised before he was rescued by Shirley and her family.

And now look at him, living the the life of his dreams! 🤩

Having always had rescue dogs myself, it is the most rewarding journey, knowing you have given an animal a second chance at life. The campaign encourages people to consider all animals, and think of acts of kindness - no matter how small - we could do to make a difference to their lives. Check the RSPCA website for more details on how you could help ☺️

🐾 WE ARE HIRING 🐾

We are looking for an experienced dog groomer to join our team! You must be able to groom to a high standard and have at least 2 years working in a salon environment.

We have a full time position available imminently at our West Dulwich salon, but we also have plans to expand the team at our Beckenham branch very soon… get in touch to register your interest.

Full or part time position considered. Please get in touch for more details, or share with anyone who might be interested in joining our friendly team!
