🐾 Volunteers needed to help in our kennels! 🐾

Are you looking for a volunteering role with animals? Look no further!! We need enthusiastic, kind-hearted people willing to help us in our kennels.

What you will be helping with:
🐕 Walking the dogs!!
🧹 Cleaning the kennels
🫧 Washing the dishes
🧺 Helping with laundry
🦴 Making enrichment
🐾 Socialising dogs & puppies

Kennel volunteers must be of good physical health to carry out all duties of the role; willing to follow guidance from staff; willing to handle a variety of breeds and sizes; self-motivated; a positive attitude and willing to help in other areas if required (e.g the cattery).

We currently cannot offer transport to Oak Tree, so volunteers must arrange travel to Oak Tree themselves. We provide extensive training and our staff are happy to share their knowledge. Volunteer shifts can work around your schedule and availability.

Fun Dog Training & Activities Class

Our fantastic Training Team are hosting special dog classes, with a twist!

Have a go at something new!! Try out hoopers, trick training, scent work & more. All while still rewarding good behaviour. Mix up your evening dog walk & join us instead! Guaranteed to get tails wagging! 🐶

No experience necessary. However, a basic level of training will help you & your dog get the most out of the sessions. Come along to have some fun with your dog & meet like-minded people, in a friendly environment.

If you have ever been to our Next Steps or Puppy training classes before, you already know how great they are! We hope to see some familiar faces join us again!

Update on Pudsey.
Eveline and I have officially adopted him. Such a wonderful little dog that has stolen my heart. Glad we can give him a loving home for the rest of his time.
