Our Pony Campers had an absolutely fantastic time on their dusk ride!
After a day in the hot sunshine 🌞, both campers and ponies deserved a cooler, calmer adventure – so we saddled up as the sky turned golden and the air began to soften as we wanted to make sure everyone stayed cool, comfortable, and happy. 💛.

When Callie first started, she was a little cautious around horses and riding – but wow, what a transformation! Over time, her confidence has blossomed, and she’s truly come into her own in the saddle. Her determination, positive attitude, and growing skill have been an inspiration to watch.

🌪️ Storm Floris UPDATE – Lessons Cancelled 🌧️

Due to the chance of severe weather conditions brought by Storm Floris, we have taken the decision to cancel all lessons today to ensure the safety of our riders, staff, and ponies.

We know how disappointing this is, but safety always comes first. We will rebook your session.

🌬️ Storm Floris – Weather Warning for Tomorrow (4th August) 🌧️

We are keeping a close eye on the forecast as Storm Floris approaches and will continue to monitor conditions carefully.

If you have a booking and would prefer to cancel due to the weather, we completely understand – just let us know and we’ll happily rebook you for another day.

We’ll make a final decision regarding tomorrow’s sessions in the morning and will post an update as early as possible.

🚧 Travel Update – A737 Road Works 🚦

Please be aware that resurfacing works are scheduled on the A737 between Mid-Risk and Mid-Gavin throughout August. Temporary traffic lights are in place and are currently adding around 25 minutes to travel times.

If you're visiting Boydstone Farm Stables, we recommend allowing extra time for your journey to avoid being late for your session.

Living his absolute best retired life? ✔️✔️

Oscar, our legendary pony, keeps us on our toes with his dramatic new routine – but anyone who knows him, knows just how special he truly is. 💕🦄

From livery pony to much-loved school horse, he's now enjoying a well-earned retirement at Boydstone. Oscar has given so much to so many. And now? He’s taking things at his own pace – with just a little flair for the theatrical! 😄
