We remember every Harbour Baby who has come into our rescue - but there are some cases, like John (now Teddy) that we'll always hold close to our heart. 💛
When he first came into the rescue, he was extremely traumatised from his time spent as a stray and when we came to his aid he was in immense pain from a severely fractured leg and dislocated and smashed shoulder and facial injuries. With critical surgery to remove the injured leg and the right care and rehabilitation - and most crucially, matching him with the perfect pawrents, he quickly transformed into the happiest little man we could have hoped for. The love they have shown this beat up street cat has shown him the love and compassion he needed to blossom into a snuggly and cheeky chap, who has been adored by his entire adoptive family. We truly cannot thank them enough for all they have done for this handsome boy.
He's sadly now entering the last season of his life - supported through a terminal illness by his incredible pawrent - and knowing that he has led such a wonderful, fulfilled life is the reason we started Sunny Harbour to begin with. 🐾
