In this sunny weather pavements can often be deceptively hot and will usually be much warmer than the air outside. Although dogs paws may seem tough, they can be easily burned by hot pavements.

⚫️ Avoid walking on dark asphalt pavements in particular
⏰️ Walk early morning before the pavements get too hot
🌳 Seek out natural shade and natural surfaces such as grass for a cooler walk
