From this to this!
Upcycling is the act of taking something no longer in use and giving it a second life and new function. These Douwe Egberts coffee jars used to go straight in the bin but now we give them a good clean, paint them and then decoupage them to give them a new use. Once upcycled these jars can be used for a range of things from presenting your favourite flowers to storing your makeup brushes. 💐
Upcycling is also great for the environment as it reduces the amount of waste that is dumped in landfills which results in less pollution being released into the atmosphere.🌍
