12th June, the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society are holding a grassland event organised by Brecknock. Pruex are a sponsor. On the farm, Pruex has been applied in the cattle building throughout the winter. The muck has retained protein as opposed to loosing nitrogen as pollution. The cattle and calf health has benefited with no medication given for calf lung or scour issues. The protein from the muck has benefited the soil and plants with more biomass grown than the rest of the field treated with synthetic fertiliser, greater plant diversity survival and pature with optimal protein: energy ratio. The protein plot will be on show during the event. Visit the Protein Plot to find out more.
