Apologies to the Groomers I let down today. I still have not got my van back from the workshop but should be OK for next week. This is the result of a failed MOT. I needed new brake discs and a few other bits. This is the firs failed test in 8 years so I shouldn't complain.

Here’s a question. It seems standard practice to wash and blow dry dogs prior to clipping, however in this current fuel crises is it still a cost effective process. With the cost of electricity and the ever increasing pressure on your time would it be cost effective to clip the dog first. I don’t know what the price of the electricity is using a blow dryer. It’s even more if you’re on a commercial tariff. I do however know the price to sharpen a clipper blade, £6. Factor in £6 to the price of grooming a dog and see which is the best way forward. I don’t know the answer but I think it’s is a question worth asking.
