✨A Little Update from Glamorous Grooming ✨

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well! I just wanted to let you know that due to rising costs of utilities and products, there will be a small increase of £5 in my prices when I return to work.

Pricing Update:
All new clients will follow the new set prices. Existing clients will see a small increase of £5 on their usual service cost. I appreciate your understanding with this adjustment.

I will be returning to work on Monday, 2nd February. To ease myself back in gradually, I will only be working one day per week, and this will be Mondays only.
My first appointment each Monday will be at 9:30am and my last appointment will be at 1:30pm. Please note that I will not be offering appointments on any other days or outside these times, so I kindly ask that you do not request alternative days or times.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as I adjust to being back at work.

📣 Important Announcement – Maternity Leave Update

As of today, Thursday 13th November 2025, I have been advised by medical professionals to begin my maternity leave earlier than planned, meaning I will need to stop work immediately.

I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support during this time.

Who would like a FREE groom

My sister is competing at a local grooming show Sunday and her dog has just cancelled on her.

She is looking for a fluffy breed with enough coat to see a difference.
Ideal breeds
Poodle
Poochon
Cockapoos
Cavapoochon ect

Please don’t be offended if your dog isn’t suitable for the competition.

She will need the dog either Saturday night to prep or extremely early Sunday morning. She is more than willing to collect and drop off.

Evening all,

Hope your all doing well and have had the best start to 2024.

Just a little update, my beautiful little girl is due to start school very soon and as a result of this and the need to have a lot more flexibility than I currently have with occupying a commercial premises etc. I have made the difficult but practical decision to relocate to my home as many of you were used to prior to me moving in to the shop.

This will allow me to be as readily available as I need to be as a parent of a little one and new school starter and enable me to be there for her as and when called upon during the early stages of school life which will be a big change for her and me 🥺.

As a lot of you already know but my newer customers may not, the location of my home (will be passed on prior to appointments) is in a convenient location only a 3 minute drive from the current shop and has adequate outside parking for you to drop off your fur babies.

Much as you have been used to, the appointments are still a 1 - 1 basis and will allow me to give full attention to your pooches and not have them stressed through the presence of other dogs etc with them being taken into the property and returned to yourselves on the door.

All my services are still fully insured and the only minor changes are that the works will take place at my home and not a commercial premises which means all animals are insured at all times rather than the animals and owners which is standard in a commercial premises. (Proof of insurance can be sent if you want to be certain).

I hope this is OK for you all and that you are still more than happy to be returning customers.

Hi all,

Firstly, I'd like to say a massive HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all, your families and your fur babies.

I hope that you've all had a lovely Christmas/ Festive break and had all you hoped for and I hope you all have the greatest year in 2024.

It's took me a lot longer than most to do this but with the rising day to day costs of life being present through businesses also I have to apply a slight price increase effective from January 8th 2024 when the salon reopens for business as usual.

I have tried as much as possible to bring down costs from utility providers/ insurance providers as well as the products in which I purchase to give you the most satisfactory service but unfortunately they have no room for movement. With this being said, I'm not looking to have my loyal customers past/ present/ future absorb the complete difference and I have done the absolute best I can to only allow the slight increase and absorb the remainder personally.

For the existing customers, the increase will be a simple method, it'll simply be an additional £5 per service that I currently undertake for you.

For all new customers, please feel free to message me and I can let you know the specific prices that'll be current from the above date.

I hope you all can understand this and I look forward to continuing getting your fur babies to looking their very best throughout 2024.

Hi All,

We are currently receiving large amounts of calls, voicemails and messages in relation to appointments from both existing and new customers.

I can assure you we are doing our very best to get back to you as quickly as we possibly can, but I am sure you can appreciate that I am busy during the working day getting your pets looking as beautiful as possible for you.

Our opening/ operating times are currently 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday, however, I am regularly in the shop from 8am. This is when I look to reply to all missed calls, voicemails and messages and confirm all appointments.

Please bare with us and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

It is advisable that all existing customers take an appointment card when at the shop and that all new customers do this also after their first appointment, this also enables you to block book of required like many loyal customers already do 😊.

Please note: We will not tolerate any rude comments/ bad manners and this could result in loss of any booked appointments and reluctance to rebook for any future grooms.

⚠️ unfortunately the salon is now shut due to rising temperatures,the salon is hitting high temperatures and making it impossible to groom in this heat,the welfare of your dogs come first at all times,sorry for any inconvenience this has made,please keep your dogs cool and in the shade⚠️
