🐶I wanted to post a little story about how my daycare dogs - brought a little joy to an elderly gentleman the other day❤️

We were out walking and I noticed this man was struggling a bit to see where he was going. So I stopped and asked if he was ok. He said he had recently started going blind and the sun was glaring in his eyes.
He was 90 and on his daily walk. We got chatting and he told me he’d been in the Royal Artillary, how he’d fought, all the places he’d been, when he’d met his wife and lost her a few years ago and that she was the best wife he could have wished for ❤️
He then asked me about the pooches I was walking, stroked them and then laughed because they were wrapping their leads around my legs - how I didn’t fall over I don’t know!

Anyway we chatted a bit longer and he said it had made his day chatting and laughing and how wonderful the pooches were. And then he carried on to his house just along the path with a smile on his face.

Me and the pooches watched to make sure he got to his door ok. I think their tales were wagging a bit more from knowing they’d brought happiness to a lovely gentleman ❤️🐾🐶
