Unfortunately due to the large increases recently in water charges etc. we have had to increase the prices of our filtered water for the first time in 7 years :( The new prices are as follows:
H.M.A. Water 7p per ltr
(filtered water for freshwater / tropical tanks)
R.O. Water 15p per ltr
(purified for topping up / mixing with salt)
Salted R.O. Water 30p per ltr
(purified with salt added for marine tanks)

We’ve got crabs!! 😄 Goldeneye Vampire, Halloween Vampire and Red claw Mangrove crabs to be exact 😊.
These cute little critters are best kept in species only tanks but can be kept with some small, fast swimming fish too.

Our brand new planted system set up and stocked! We now have two systems stocked with a wide variety of plants for your cold and tropical tanks, including some lovely pieces of planted wood and decorative items, which are fantastic for shrimp!

We unfortunately have some sad news to report. Our beloved Giant Gourami Nessa sadly passed away on Friday at the age of 10 in our 900ltr display at the back of the shop. Having had the privilege to care for her and see her develop from a 2” attitude filled little madam to the giant she was at the end (with even more attitude), we are understandably devastated.
In a cruel twist, we also sadly lost our Peacock Bass from one of our 800ltr displays within 1 hour of losing Nessa. We believe he got spooked and injured himself in the tank, unfortunately dying in front of me in the net as I was inspecting him. Although we only had him for 4 years, we had grown him from a skinny little thing up to a monster who used to put on quite a show trying to attack my keys through the glass so it was just as devastating to lose him, especially so soon after losing Nessa.
The aquariums unfortunately look empty without them ☹

Corydora Catfish are very popular for aquariums due to their easy going nature. Preferably in groups. they can also help clean up any extra food at the bottom of your tank :)
