So Jesse did a ‘Thang’ yesterday….. he joined his herd and is a very happy boy 😘

The day started with him not wanting to come out of the stable, I think he thought he was going showing - not his favourite hobby while all the girls are in season!!

The decision was made not so long ago to turn him out with a herd and yesterday was the day!! It’s his first time in a herd since he was very young and first time he’s been out with the ladies 🤭

There was lots of squealing and a little bit of running but they are all happy and settled now - in fact I think it’s fair to say he’s knackered!! 😊😊😊

Fingers crossed for lots of 2027 babies 😊🤞🏻🔥

Father’s Day was celebrated with a family BBQ today. Family isn’t just people. Elvis (28 years young) was our very first pony at Abrams, some 16 years ago and we’d never part with him!! Family is everything, including Elvis!!! Happy Fathers Day 😊

I’m sat here scrolling through my feed seeing everyone’s requests for votes for the 🌟TGCA COB STAR AWARDS🌟 thinking it’s time for me to put a post up!! The trouble is I can’t seem to find the words to express how I’m feeling about the nominations. Overwhelmed is one word, grateful, honoured, appreciative and in a way relieved. As a small stud we have spent the last ten years or so searching for incredible cobs to join our herd, with the hope and belief that we could breed world class traditional cobs that preserve the breed, the bloodlines and the old school standards. Being nominated and through to the finals means that you all see what I see. I often wonder whether I’m biased because I love my horses and whether I see them through the rosy tinted glasses as being amazing or whether they are actually amazing???? This nomination speaks volumes.

Not only have we been nominated and placed in the finals for Stud/ Breeder of the year, but also small cob of the year, large cob of the year and international cob of the year 💕 and to top it off our producer has also been nominated for best adult rider 🤩

This is an amazing achievement in itself even if we don’t win at the final. So firstly I’d like to thank everyone for your nominations this has been an incredible year for Abrams.

2026 has to date brought us many championship wins. We’ve achieved TGCA Stallion Breed Champion for the second year in a row with TR Turn Back Time after Jesse James winning it for us in 2025. We have many championships under our belt with all our up and coming c**ts following in their footsteps and I could go on and on listing our accomplishments to date, about the shows we sponsor week in week out, the young riders we support etc…

However, I think all I need to say is take a look at our foals, our mares condition immediately after giving birth, the stallions 👌🏻. The time, effort, love and devotion we put into our herd speaks volumes. 🌟🔥Abrams The Masterpiece 🔥🌟

WOW… just look at this stunning c**t! 🤩

At only two weeks old, he is already turning heads. From his powerful chest and beautifully sloping shoulder to his short back, muscular neck, and refined little head, he is the complete package. His perfectly set, flicky ears add even more presence, while that peachy croup is simply the icing on the cake.

And then there are those legs—strong, with just the perfect angle and already showing the promise of impressive feather to come.

This boy is an absolute tank with quality written all over him. If he’s looking this exceptional at just two weeks of age, I can only imagine how breathtaking he’ll be as he continues to grow and mature. A c**t with a very exciting future ahead of him.

🌟Molly x Jesse Foal🌟

What a night! Molly went into labor first, shortly followed by Hetty. They would decide to go together on the one night I had no help!! I spent the night running back and forth between the barns making sure both mares were doing ok, but determination saw us through. After working all night to ensure both mares and foals arrived safely, foals were up feeding and had met all their milestones, mares had cleansed and all four were tucked up in fresh, clean and cozy bedding, I finally stepped back into the house at 6:30 a.m.

Breeding horses is definitely not for the faint-hearted. The time, effort, and investment are enormous—but moments like this make it all worthwhile. Would I do it again? Absolutely. Seeing two healthy, beautiful filly’s safely on the ground, with both mommas thriving, made every sleepless minute completely worth it.

There’s nothing quite like the joy of welcoming new life into the herd 🥰

On that note you need to meet the first beautiful new filly…..
Molly is an incredibly big mare. She has bone and size that would put most stallions to shame and stands at a good 15’2hh. This foal will definitely mature over 15hh, so if it is a big filly your after, this is the one 💕
