Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary Registered Charity Number 1157210 is a small foster home based animal sanctuary in the Merseyside area, set up in July 2013. We primarily focus on rescuing unwanted/stray cats and rabbits, however we will aim to help any animal in need. We currently have several foster homes

throughout Merseyside and we are very keen to recruit more! To find out more information, please get in touch; [email protected]
We have a strict non-destruction policy and will keep every animal in our care until a forever home can be found. We carry out home visits on prospective new homes, this is to ensure that the area is safe/suitable and also provide a time for advice on adopting a rescue pet and answering any questions the prospective owner has. Home visits are not to look at how clean a house is or
what the decor is like! All Rescue Me animals are deflea'd, wormed, microchipped, neutered (if the animal is too young, he/she will be recalled for neutering). Our philosophy is to accept an animal into our care based solely on its need and not on any other physical characteristic, providing we have a suitable foster home free. We believe that by looking after a rescue pet in a home environment we are able to fully assess the animal, understand its needs and the type of home he/she will require and ultimately match them to a suitable home. We are very excited about our new venture but currently only have a handful of volunteers, with more support we can achieve things faster and rescue even more needy animals...please come and join us, we'll welcome you aboard!!! We are desperate for donations, please help to keep us afloat!! Paypal; [email protected]

🐈‍⬛❤️ CUTE LITTLE CLEO IS LOOKING 👀 FOR HER FOREVER HOME 🏡🐾

Beautiful little Cleo is 11-weeks old and is ready to find her new home.

Little chatty Cleo is a sweet. She came to us after being corn outside and our wonderful fosterers have worked hard socializing her. She is still a little bit of a nervous kitten but her confidence has begun to show.

Cleo is a very affectionate and energetic girl, who enjoys playing with her fosterers’ resident cats. Cleo enjoys being cuddled and combed and watching TV. She will need a quiet home, preferably with a friendly resident cat, who can teach her the ropes of life and teach her how to love 💕.

As Cleo will regress on first moving home, it would be beneficial for her to be kept in a large comfy dog crate or small room for a few days when adopted. This is so she can get used to her new surroundings and feel safe for a few days.

Cleo is in foster in Netherton and has been neutered, chipped, parasite treated and has had her first vaccination. She will need an experienced owner and can be homed with a friendly resident cat and children aged 13-years+. She is young enough to get used to a calm, cat-savvy dog.

If interested in adopting Cleo, please call us on 07952017696 and leave a voicemail. Adoption fee £150 and vetting applies.

❤️😻 KUTE KLEVER KELSEY 🏉 IS KEEPING HER PAWS CROSSED ……🐾

Kelsey is a young, happy girl, approx 18-24 months old, who is ready for her 5* forever home ✨️

Kelsey is named after Rugby World Cup winner and Red Roses team member, Kelsey Clifford, and has shown the same level of determination in her time with us 🌹🏉🥇

Kelsey came to us as a stray from a local vets, very heavily pregnant. She gave birth the very same night she was admitted and it was far from smooth sailing. Having lost two babies and having to raise three, she understandably took a little time to settle in.

In foster, she has been a dream. She is the most trusting, friendly, affectionate cat and will make the perfect addition to a home looking for a snuggly companion. Kelsey has been a wonderful mum and is very deserving of a forever home to call her own. She's been a little stressed raising her babies, so does have a bit of fur loss due to over grooming on her back legs. We anticipate this will grow back fine when she is settled in a new home.

She can be easily won over with lick-e-lix, and loves to play with toys 🧸🎾. She adores chin scratches and human company.

Kelsey has been neutered, treated for parasites, microchipped and received her first vaccination. She can be a little unsure of other cats and hasn’t been tested around dogs. She will be fine with sensible children, aged 8-years+. Kelsey can be collected from our HQ in Melling. If you are interested in adopting her, please call us on 07952 017 696 and leave a voicemail. Adoption fee and vetting applies.

Everest is starting to play 💓

01/12/2025

Ice is 1 of 4 albino cats we have rescued from a recent complex situation where 8 cats in total came into our care. We are expecting more this week also 💔
She is being spayed and microchipped today.
No adoption enquiries currently as she still needs some treatment for her skin as she has terrible flea allergy dermatitis.

🩷 Our lovely yummy mummy cats are always overlooked 🩷

Beautiful Demelza is a young mum (around 18–24 months old) who came into our care with her kittens. Now that her little ones are confidently exploring life on their own, it’s finally her turn to relax, be pampered, and enjoy the love she truly deserves. 💖

This sweet girl can be a little shy at first, but once she decides you’re her person, she becomes a total lovebug—seeking out headbumps, gentle strokes, and a cosy lap to curl up on. She greets her fosterer with soft little chats and is fascinated by toys 🧸🎾, though she politely lets her kittens take the spotlight. What she’d really love now is a basket of toys all to herself 🪀🪶—and a calm home where she can play, unwind, and blossom.

Demelza enjoys lounging on the windowsill, watching the world go by, and she absolutely adores her food and treats. She’s also a clean and tidy girl who uses her litter tray perfectly.

Currently in foster in Kirkby, Demelza has been neutered, microchipped, parasite treated, and has had her first vaccination.

📞 If you’d love to offer this gorgeous girl her happy-ever-after, please call 07952017696 and leave a voicemail.
Adoption fee £125 and standard vetting apply.

🌹❤️ BEAUTIFUL MINI TORTIE MINNIE IS READY TO GO HOME 🏡🐾

Please read Minnie’s write-up carefully and only apply if you an experienced cat owner, preferably with knowledge of socialising ex-feral cats. Please also be prepared to adopt a beautiful, fluffy kitten who will need a lot of time, patience and TLC before she becomes the friendly girl we know she will become. This won’t happen straightaway and she must be given the space she needs to blossom.

Minnie is a 15-week-old kitten who has come a long way from the little feral she once was. Her feral days are over and she doesn’t bite, hiss or scratch. She can be easily startled though, so will need calm, slow, patient approaches initially. Minnie will purr and seek attention from familiar people and she will, soon get used to her new humans.

Minnie LOVES lik-e-lix and the use of them will help in the bonding process!! She is fine being picked up but she does prefer to approach voluntarily….. when she’s in the mood. She is a very playful girl and likes her toy mouse 🐭 and chasing balls 🎾 and a laser. Minnie is not a fan of the cat tree and doesn’t really climb. She does still likes to hide but will come out for cuddles and to play. She responds well to her name and comes when called.

To get Minnie to the stage she is currently, has taken weeks of work and patience, from very experienced feral kitten socialisers. She will regress on moving home and will need to learn to trust her new people. We anticipate that it won’t take so long to get her back to her current stage though. We would recommend crating her or keeping her in a separate room until she is settled into her new home.

Minnie is a fluffy girl and will need gentle, regular grooming.

Minnie is in foster in Wavertree and has been neutered, chipped, parasite-treated and is fully vaccinated. She can be homed with friendly resident cats and children aged 13-years+. If interested in adopting her, please call us on 07952017696 and leave a voicemail. Adoption fee of £150 and vetting applies.
