🌈❤️🐾 In Loving Memory of Tilly 🐾❤️🌈
Today, we remember the gorgeous Tilly ❤️ Tilly was no ordinary pug – she was full of sass, charm, and a famously stubborn streak. Rehomed at the age of 3 by Sharon and her family, she quickly became the heart of their home. Sharon’s daughter, Ellie, had always dreamed of having a pug, and by a twist of fate, Tilly found her perfect family in them. From that moment on, the bond they shared was unbreakable.
Tilly enjoyed many wonderful years filled with love, happiness, and all the treats a pug could wish for. I had the privilege of caring for Tilly as a patient at my previous practice, where she left a lasting impression 💞
Sadly, I diagnosed Tilly with suspected Degenerative Myelopathy – a progressive neurological condition that affects the spinal cord, leading to weakness and loss of coordination in the hind limbs. It’s a condition with no known cure, but that didn’t stop her family from doing everything possible to give her the best quality of life 💓
Thanks to their dedication, including regular hydrotherapy and physiotherapy, Tilly enjoyed an additional 18 months of comfort, mobility, and joy. She faced every challenge with the same pug tenacity that made her so special 🌟 Tilly's family gave her the very best life, and when the time came, they gave her the gentlest goodbye too. It’s clear how much she was loved, and how lucky she was to have found a family who adored her as much as she adored them ❤️
Tilly will be deeply missed. She brought immeasurable joy to her family, and it was an honour to be part of her journey ❤️
Run free, sweet Tilly 🌈🐾
