Absolutely incredible! We loved meeting everyone today and look forward to welcoming you all to Wag n Waves soon!

We’ve also said to Carla Lane Animals in Need Liverpool they are more than welcome to bring any of the kennel dogs for a free play so can’t wait to meet them too 🥰

Our fabulous volunteers worked their socks off 👏. Without them, it would have been a locked, empty hall and a lot of disappointment supporters. 😞 We are all now home, with out feet up and a well earned brew. ☕️ 🍷

Rescue is something that is really important to us at Wag n Waves. We are delighted to be going to Carla Lane Animals in Need Liverpool Summer fair this Sunday 7th June.

Please pop down it’s going to be a great day! We will be there with fun activities for the dogs to try, tasty treats from Rafas Raw and gorgeous dryrobes from Stellar Pet Products.

It's our next FUN DOG SHOW at Lydiate Parish Hall TOMORROW, SUNDAY 7TH JUNE!. 🐾 🐕

We have already posted the online booking in for the classes and will post again in the run up to the day. This just saves you queuing up on the day so you can hit the refreshments and cakes. 🧁 🍰

🎁 If you have any unwanted gifts, booze, chocolates, sweets, biscuits or new items and unsure what to do with them, then please send them our way. They are perfect for our sales, raffles and tombolas and help us raise much needed funds for the Sanctuary.

💰 Don't forget our event is CASH ONLY. Some stall holders may have card facilities. Best to come prepared.

🌞 As always, we will be keeping an eye on the forecast nearer the time and will post updates of any changes. If hot weather, please consider not bringing your dog and leave them at home.

Calling all adolescents!!

Do you have a teenager of a puppy? A dog that was doing brilliantly with their training but now seems to have lost interest a bit?

Or a super star that you want to further their training?

Here at Wag n Waves we are holding a 4 week adolescent course focusing on
Impulse control, frustration tolerance and working on refining skills such as lead walking and recall that some dogs loose as an adolescent.

Too hot for those long, afternoon walks? Keep your dog cool, safe, and fully enriched this weekend at Wag n’ Waves. 🐾

It’s a brilliant day out for the whole family. Children are very welcome under adult supervision, making it a wonderful, safe space to bond, play, and watch your dog’s confidence shine before the school routine starts again.

Staying cool is serious business, but we’ve got it down to a fine art.
We kicked off the morning with a lovely, shaded walk to keep those paws off the hot pavements, followed by plenty of low-energy brain games in our temperature-controlled playroom. And of course, we had the paddling pools out for some glorious splashing and chilly paw-dipping!
Daycare on warmer days is all about keeping the energy low, the hydration high, and the vibes incredibly chill.

Wow it was a warm one today!

With the weather set to stay hot over the next few days it’s important to make sure your dog keeps cool.

No walks mid day, plenty of water and shade to prevent heat stroke.
