At the Pawfect retreat we received devastating news that our beautiful Freya sadly passed away, Freya joined us in November 2024 where she started her hydrotherapy journey with Ashley and Hayley. Freya was an independent lady who loved to swim on her own although she did learn to love a little float. RIP Freya we are all going to miss you so much❤️

Today was Tyson’s last session. He was referred to our centre for a cruciate injury and his owners were looking for an alternative treatment to surgery. Today is off to live his best life. Though we have helped strengthen his hind limbs and the muscles around his knee we can’t guarantee he guarantee that he won’t need surgery in the future but we’ve hopefully delayed it so he can continue to run and play with his friends.

Everyone please meet our lovely willow,❤️ she is a long-Haired dachshund 3 years old. Willow joined use February 2025 due to her weight, since having two gorgeous pups willow has been gaining weight so the last three weeks willow has been undergoing hydrotherapy session’s to help her get back on track. We are so proud at willow progress keep it up willow🐶

Everyone meet our beautiful Nellie❤️, she joined us back in November 2022 where she was referred with bilateral luxating patella’s which caused her discomfort and lameness, making her day to day activities painful. After having a few session’s of hydrotherapy Nellie was much happier and able to do what she loves the most, going out on adventures with her big brother!

Hydrotherapy has helped nellie by reducing any swelling and inflammation, improved range of motion and mobility and most importantly strengthening the muscles around the knee joint.

Luxating patella occurs when the kneecap (patella) slips out of its normal position in the groove (femoral groove) of the femur bone.
