Thank you, all of you. ๐Ÿงก

And that's a wrap on our Veterinary Nurse Appreciation Month series. Over the past few weeks we've introduced you to the remarkable people who make up our nursing team - and what a team it is.

Between them they bring hundreds of years of combined experience, hand-reared kittens and puppies, saved lives in critical moments, trained abroad, coached the next generation and still found time to keep the snack tin stocked. They've given so much to this profession - and to every animal that has walked, been carried or occasionally been dragged through our doors.

Veterinary nursing is not an easy profession. It asks a great deal - physically, emotionally and practically. These women show up every day and give their very best to animals and their owners, and we are incredibly proud of every single one of them.

To Claire, Jenny, Aidy, Rachel, Kat, Sally, Amy, Jasmine, Gee, Lindsey, Sian and Cara - thank you. From the bottoms of our hearts and on behalf of every patient you've ever cared for. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸŒŸ Meet Cara - lover of emergency care, cottage renovator, and exactly who you want on your side when things get critical.

With 13 years experience, Cara loves emergency and critical care - including out of hours. The kind of dedication that goes above and beyond, every single time. ๐Ÿ’š

A recent highlight was being part of a successful colopexy surgery on a Pointer - complex, high stakes, and a brilliant result. Just the way she likes it. ๐Ÿพ

Off duty, she's walking her dog or working on her old cottage renovation. She tackles both with the same determination she brings to the job - expect lab work. That one's still a no from Cara ๐Ÿ˜†

โญMeet Sian, third year student nurse, inpatient care champ, and proud owner of a dog called Goose.

Sian joined us as a receptionist and, returning from maternity leave, made the brilliant decision to train as a nurse. Now in her third year, she's nearly qualified and the whole team couldn't be more behind her. ๐Ÿ’š

Her passion for inpatient care shines through every shift and it's already saved a life. Whilst monitoring a cat post-op, Sian noticed something wasn't right, alerted the vet straight away and that cat made it home. That's the power of a truly attentive nurse. โœจ

When she's off duty, Sian is spending time with her son and the wonderfully named Goose.

โญMeet Lindsey, 11 years of experience, a love of inpatient care, and mum to one very lucky cat called Noah.

Lindsey's passion for inpatient care is the kind that makes a real difference, attentive, dedicated and always there for her patients when they need it most. ๐Ÿ’š

Her career highlight? Taking home a little stray kitten who needed a chance. That kitten who needed a chance. That kitten is Noah, and he turns 10 this year. Sometimes the best things find you. ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ–ค

In her spare time, Lindsey is out on the Cornish coast path with her fiancรฉ and daughter, soaking up everything this beautiful county has to offer. Cat p**p clean-up, however, remains the one part of the job she'll never warm to. ๐Ÿ˜†

โญ Meet Gee, 12 years of experience, snack provider and the proud owner of the fullest life outside of work.

With 12 years experience, Gee brings skill and dedication to every aspect of her nursing with a particular love for the operating setting, where her calm precision come into it's own. She also happens to be the team's go- to snack supplier, a role she takes just as seriously. ๐Ÿ’š

Her career highlight? Giving two stray black cats a home. It's exactly the kind of person she is, caring doesn't stop when she leaves the practice. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿฑ

Off duty, you'll find her on the farm with her two sons, dogs and horse. She takes it all in her stride, except smelly faecal samples. Those remain as unwelcome as ever. ๐Ÿ˜†

โญ Meet Jasmine, first year student nurse, lab work lover and always the first to book the next city break!

Jasmine's journey is one that makes the whole team smile. She joined us an Animal Nursing Assistant and has worked her way onto the student nurse programme through sheer hard work and passion for the job. We're thrilled to be part of her story. ๐Ÿ’š

Already in her first year she's found a real calling in lab work, detailed, vital and right up her street. Watch this space. ๐Ÿ”ฌ

Out of work, Jasmine is off exploring new places. Vomit on the other hand, is one discovery she'd rather skip. Can't say we blame her. ๐Ÿ˜†
