Happy Easter everyone! Hope your all enjoying a long bank holiday weekend 🐇 🐣. Just a reminder if you've planned to go away this year please make sure you book in your rabbits or guinea pigs with us as soon as possible as spaces are filling up and we will be making some changes to our facilities this year. ✈️

We managed to catch the last stray rabbit last night, she will be going to the vets tomorrow for a check over as she is also covered in scabs, has discharging eyes and seems quite lethargic.

We are sorry to announce that the stray rabbit we took in last night was put to sleep earlier today. She had been attacked by a dog or a fox and was in a really bad way. We will be filing a report with the RSPCA as apparently the owner is known to them but we just need to get the final rabbit to safety first. We are meant to be closed to new intakes but we will always help in urgent cases such as this. Thank you to the kind people of Liskeard for helping out with these rabbits.

This has not been an easy decision but regrettably we have had to make the sad but responsible decision to close to future intakes of rabbits and guinea pigs for the foreseeable future. We have managed to clear our waiting list, if there is anybody we have forgotten about please do message us and we will help where we can.

Unfortunately our funds have completely run out, we are not a registered charity so can't apply for grants, so the rescue is run purely on donations from our supporters and primarily our own money.

We encourage you to contact us for any rabbits that need urgently rescuing as we have lots of contacts with other wonderful rescues and we will endeavour to point you in the right direction to seek help if we can't help you directly.

We still have rabbits and guinea pigs looking for homes and we will update you on who we have available very soon. We have all the rabbits to vaccinate next week with the new Yurvac vaccine and our sanctuary rabbits are also due their annual booster nobivac within the next few months.

We have sadly lost Donald and Teddy within a week or two of each other. These guys were sanctuary rabbits and were both about 11 years old. Everytime we lose a rabbit a bit of our heart goes with them. 🪽 🐇

A post I never wanted to write and never thought I would 😢 I lost my beautiful Blue, he was a very special bun to me and was the reason I started the rescue over 10 years ago. He passed away peacefully in my arms on Sunday morning, I was so lucky to have loved somebody so much that saying goodbye was so hard. Sleep tight my handsome boy, you will never be forgotten 🪽 💔

Up for adoption! 2 female guinea pigs called Kimmy and Snickers who are approximately 4 years old, these 2 are bonded and we will be looking for an indoor home for these girls. Please get in touch if you think you could be a suitable match.

Holiday season is in sight 🌞 ⛱️ with that in mind please get your bookings in early for rabbit and guinea pig boarding with us as we fill up quickly especially during school holidays.
Our prices are currently the same as last year but these are due to go up from 1st April. If you book before the end of March you will pay the price below.

Our newest intake is Hazel she is approximately 10 months old and came from another hoarding case up country. She unfortunately had a drop in heart rate during her spay procedure so this had to be abandoned. She will need to be checked out by our rabbit savvy vet, if anybody would like to contribute towards her vet fees our PayPal is [email protected] (please pay using friends and family). See below some pictures of where she came from 💔 thank you to Bunny Angels for transporting her to us.
