And we are Full Full Full
Availability at the weekend
The children have been amazing with each and everyone showing so much respect for the ponies in this heat.
Short rides out, in the shaded woodlands, back home for a wash down
Thank you children for understanding our ponies come first, thank you to the volunteers for all your hard work in this heat.

Great Trethew Trekking - Lessons - Children's Clubs 2025

Please note, hacks/own a pony days will be going ahead over the next few days but with extra precautions given the heat, please see below if you have a booking over the coming days!

☀️Please ensure yourself/your child is wearing sun cream☀️

☀️Bring plenty to drink for each session instructors are more than happy to stop for water breaks!☀️

☀️All riding will be slower paced, this is for the horses welfare☀️

☀️In these extremely hot conditions we will be hacking only, this is for the horse’s welfare, we have to put them first!☀️

☀️Full riding PPE and appropriate clothing is still required, you will not be allowed to ride in shorts/skirts/dresses/sensible top and must still wear boots and hats!

☀️if possible bring a carrot/apple to give pony after your lesson

Tuesday 26th May- Own A Pony Day - One little tiny pony Gorg still available or our super kind and caring cob Moe is available.

Groom & Ride introductory sessions - 1 hour - £25

Friday 29th May
Groom & Ride introductory sessions - 1 hour - £25

At Great Trethew Trekking Alternative Education, we offer a fully outdoor, equine-based Alternative Provision for young people who thrive outside the traditional classroom.
