This time last year, Paul was in the LAMP - Linlithgow Amateur Musical Productions cabaret audience and promised himself he'd be taking part next time, and here he is, very much looking forward to this coming Friday and Saturday! 😍

🎭 Meet the Cast of the 2025 LAMP Cabaret! 🎤

We're pleased to introduce another four of our amazing performers who’ll be lighting up the stage this year:

✨ Paul joined for Sister Act last year and has jumped at every opportunity since! Taking on no less than four roles in the show, he played Ernie, the Newscaster, the Drag Queen and a choir boy! Paul has been a wonderful addition to our LAMP family and we can't wait to see him shine at cabaret.

✨ We were thrilled to have Erin join us for Sister Act as Tina, and now she’s back for more! She’s been performing since she was five when her granny introduced her to musical theatre to build confidence—she’s never looked back. After a break for university, Erin missed the joy of performing and joined LAMP to rediscover the fun while training as a teacher. We’re so glad she did!

✨ Another fantastic addition to LAMP, Samantha made her debut as Tina in Sister Act last year. She’s been performing since the age of four, taking on iconic roles like Jasmine (Aladdin), Wednesday (The Addams Family), and Velma Kelly (Chicago). After earning music and teaching degrees and working as a music teacher, her passion for performing never faded. Now training at The Scottish Institute pursuing a career in the industry— we’re delighted to have her with us!

✨ Pamela joined LAMP in 2022 for our production of Elf and has been in every show since. Pamela is a keen musician and last year held additional rehearsals for our altos (tea and cake provided!). This is Pamela’s second cabaret and we’re looking forward to see her perform again!

Deputy Dogs are delighted to promote 'Sister Act- the musical', the upcoming show from LAMP at Linlithgow Academy Theatre starting on Tuesday 15th October.

When he's not out walking dogs, our very own Paul has been practicing for his acting debut as Ernie in this fantastic musical!

It’s time to start introducing you to the Sister Act Principal cast!

First up, please welcome Paul for his LAMP debut! 👏

Paul is new to the world of acting, having only recently joined us in March this year.

Paul’s journey started when he responded to our singing workshop advert in January before being further inspired watching our cabaret night in February. Paul then came through our audition process and now can’t wait to play “Ernie” and be part of the ensemble in Sister Act.

Paul’s dream role in a musical is Javert in Les Miserables and he says his favourite part about being in LAMP is watching everyone at rehearsal being happy. ❤️

Morning slots available! We currently have some morning slots available, these are solo walks (i.e one on one) and are for an hour each. These will be available on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested please get in touch and we will get back to you ASAP 🐾🐶

We are delighted to announce we will have some dog walking slots coming up in mid February/early March. These walks will be solo walks (i.e 1 on 1) and are an hour each.

Available slots will be given on a first come first serve basis.

What a transformation! Arwen had her first visit to Bobtails Dog Groomers Boness last week. As you can see she is half the dog she was before and loving it!!
