COVID UPDATE – Monday 19th July
We’d like to advise clients that we’ll continue to operate as we have been doing during the pandemic. We recognise that this isn’t what many of you were hoping for, but it’s for the very best of reasons – we want to stay open and be available to care for your pets.
We hope you understand our reasons:
Covid cases are on the increase, as are isolation requirements for close contacts. If a member of the team contracts Covid or needs to isolate, it will likely affect others and we will not have enough staff to safely open the practice or at the very least our service will be severely disrupted. We've already had 2 staff members having to isolate recently, and it's highly likely that there will be more.
Please continue to wear a mask (unless you’re exempt) and we will continue to wear PPE to keep everybody protected. Although we allow a maximum of two clients at a time into the building, we prefer to do as many consultations outside as possible, and prefer it if we can take your pet into the practice while you wait outside. We will review the situation if & when there are changes to the isolation rules and the rate of infection decreases.
We’re all looking forward to getting back to business as usual. As a team we’re working extremely hard to keep things running smoothly and your understanding and courtesy go a long way in keeping us motivated to carry on.
Finally, please be assured that we’re taking very good care of your pets inside the practice (lots of extra cuddles and a few treats).
