…My partner and I were going on holiday. We were going fo
r 2 weeks and we really struggled to get someone to look after our cats while we were away. One of our cats, Milo has a heart murmur and gets really stressed when we put him in the cat basket, so taking him to the cattery wasn’t an option. We had also heard horror stories about catteries and kennels which put us off the idea. The only option we had was to leave our pets at home while we were away but finding someone that we could trust to do it was difficult and in the end we had to rely on a friend to come and stay at our house which wasn’t ideal. This got us thinking…
…All the way through our holiday in fact! We found that we weren’t the only people that didn’t want to uproot our pets and put them through;

Whenever we needed to go away. Something that made us nervous about leaving our pets at home was the thought of someone we didn’t know coming into or living in our home while we were away. Maybe you’re thinking the same?
