Prestige dog training and walking is going to be the platform for the dog training that I do and Jess is going to be the walking as we diversify how we do things. If you could visit the page and give it a like or be so kind as to do a review if you have done one previously on this page we would be grateful.
Like and share as we build this platform and once the websites up and running we will let you know for you to take a look. Noisy old morph to grab your attention ❗️❗️❗️

So a current trend that’s grown is the NO SHOW it’s rude inconsiderate and shafts other people that I have to turn away. Nearly all of you reading this will know how easy going I am and try and have a can do attitude.
BUT this culture of not turning up when you have booked in just a few days before so appreciative of getting a space is really pi***ng me off. Staff are waiting and being paid, food purchased a space taken up that could be let out.
( picture for visual representation of my expression of when I look at the book and see no shows )

I am seeing a lot about dogs in the heat so the awareness is all around.

Most of you know my old job role and it involved working with dogs in a country in extreme heat season depending.

The dogs that fared best did a winter tour and then went in to summer allowing a natural acclimatising process to a new constant heat. And new dogs had a designated acclimatisation period doing not a lot then eased in to it gradually.

The problem with the UK is we have sporadic weather with just a bit of heat or cold and then flit somewhere in the middle mostly. Our dogs don’t get to grips with heat or the cold properly just like us or our roads or the rail ways as a country were pretty crap dealing with weather.

Certain breeds cope better than others but non of them do well so be sensible.

No dog will die from missing a walk or missing a training session. Don’t just do a walk because it’s what you do at that time and a slave to routine.

You can add water to the feed to increase hydration cool the paws as it’s a dogs don’t sweat like us but they do from their paws and mouth. But in all of it just keep them steady and calm.

The courage to say No that’s enough it’s time to wrap it’s too much now can be a life saver.

Take it steady

It’s that time of the year again. Don’t be an idiot and and have them out in the sun wait till tonight.

What you sayin Mr!!

A great 2 sessions with Rocco.
You can’t fight genetics guys you can love them and hug them but inside every dog is a burning ember of its origin for what it’s breed was created for. It’s stronger in some than others but exists non the less.
