A Walk in the Park with Rachel assists with all pet care, offering dog walks and home visits. Hi👋 I am Rachel, the founder of A Walk in the Park with Rachel.

I have taken the plunge and gone self-employed with something that I enjoy more than anything, dogs! I have a huge passion in helping animals as well as lots of experience in caring for animals as I work as a kennel assistant in a vet practice. I am currently working towards completing a level 2 qualification in Animal Care and Welfare. I am fully insured and DBS checked.

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of being Crumpets chaperone at his Mum and Dads wedding!!

My first wedding chaperoning, and it went incredibly well! Crumpet was such a good boy for me and was loving all of the fuss from all his favourite people 🥰

New additions to my dogs.. Lola and Laci 😍🥰

Such lovely girls who came bounding down the stairs to me when I arrived 😆 Both girls love a cuddle and are super affectionate!! Can’t wait to see them again!

Just wanted to make you all aware of some time off that I currently have booked for the first half of the year ☺️
As some of you are already aware, we get married in June!💍 So will be taking some time off before and after the wedding (12th-23rd June).
If there are any changes to these dates or additional dates that may occur to the first half of the year, you will be updated as soon as possible!

What a great start to 2026! It’s been a lovely week seeing everyone again🥰 We’ve had the weirdest weather this week as well, but it hasn’t stopped us😁❄️ The dogs have all been so excited to see me back for their walks and visits!

Hello, and Happy New Year to you all!😁
I am excited to see all my happy dogs tomorrow!

With the weather looking very chilly this week, coats and jumpers are definitely needed! Please leave them for me to put them on to keep them warm as possible 🥰

Depending on how cold it is, walks may be slightly shorter than usual but I will take it walk by walk and hopefully we can carry on as normal 🤞🏼❄️

Looking forward to seeing everyone back tomorrow!
