The main symptoms of heatstroke in dogs are:
-Faster breathing & excessive, heavy panting
-Drooling/foaming
-Discoloured gums
-Weakness/confusion
-Vomiting & Diarrhoea

*Sensitive post*

A middle-aged, neutered male cat has sadly been found deceased, likely due to a road traffic accident. He was brought into us after being found near the Riseholme Showground area in Lincoln.

He is a short-haired tabby and white cat, with dark tabby markings on his back and sides, white legs and underside, and a small patch of ginger near the tail. He was not microchipped and was not wearing a collar.

Due to his condition and temperature, it’s likely he had been deceased for some time. We are unable to share photos due to the condition he was found in.

If you believe this may be your cat or you are missing a cat that matches this description, please contact us directly on 01522 214696 for more information.

Thank you,
Rase Veterinary Centre, Newark Road

“Thank you for making the insurance process so easy and simple for us.
Our little boy Alfie has just had a very large operation - we are all very upset and stressed. However, one thing we have not had to worry about is insurance and cover.
I wanted to take the opportunity to thank Pet Proactive and the team behind it for making a difficult time just that little less difficult.” – Tyler & Jake ❤️🐱

A female white/tabby cat was brought into our Lincoln Newark Road surgery yesterday afternoon, having been found by a member of the public and seeming quite lethargic and under the weather.

She is being cared for at our Market Rasen hospital. She is unfortunately not microchipped but she was wearing a yellow luminescent collar when found. She seems very affectionate so we think someone must be missing her.

If you recognise her, please give us a call as soon as possible on 01673 842448.
