Friday Cuteness Alert 🥹‼️

Some doggos need special attention, and our groomers are more than happy to give extra cuddles to the ones that need it 🐾

This is our groomer Megan and Sidney.

They have a special cuddle ritual before every groom, which keeps Sidney comfortable and feeling safe when getting groomed 🐶🚿🫧

🐾💚 Community Spirit in Action 💚🐾

When faced with the upsetting challenge of a string of thefts from their premises, The Lincoln Dog Groomer chose to respond with kindness and generosity. Instead of letting it bring them down, they’ve launched an amazing initiative — a Pet & People’s Food Bank — to support vulnerable individuals (and their furry friends 🐶🐱) in the community.

We at CHOMP truly admire their response and wanted to show our support. That’s why we’ve donated a tray of ambient food items to help kickstart their fantastic project. 🌱

This is what community is all about — coming together, even in the face of challenges, to make sure no one (two-legged or four-legged!) goes without the essentials.

🌟 Food Bank Update 🌟

We’re so pleased to let you know that The Lincoln Dog Groomer & Pet Supplies is now open as a donation point for the local food bank that we will be offering 🐾💜

From tomorrow, you can bring along your donations to the salon and hand them to our team. At the moment, we are strictly open for donations only – not collections – while we build up supplies ready to help those who need it most.

✨ Suggested donations:
• Tinned goods (soup, beans, veg, meat, fish)
• Pasta, rice & noodles
• Cereal, porridge oats
• UHT milk & juice
• Tea, coffee, sugar
• Pet food 🐶🐱
• Toiletries & sanitary products

Every item, big or small, makes a difference. Together, we can help support families and pets in our community ❤️

Meet one of our groomers Milly 🐾

She studied Vet Science at University and is now starting a Masters in Vet Physiotherapy.

She’s got a cat, but is patiently waiting for a dog in her life!

She’s a really bubbly and friendly member of our team, and is one of the groomers that takes care of your dogs when they come in for their groom 🛁

And we think she’s really good at doing the dogs teeth cleans!

All of our groomers love animals, and are really good at what they do AND they will always put your dog’s wellbeing at the forefront of what they do, so you know that you can trust them! 🐶

Make sure you say hello to Milly when you’re dropping off your floofs for their groom!

🐾💔 Today something happened that’s never happened in almost 2 years of being open… someone slipped into the shop and ran off with some dog treats without paying.

Of course, it’s disappointing (no negative comments please) 😞 but more than anything it’s made us stop and think…

💡 Times are tough right now. If people are struggling to feed themselves, then sadly their pets are too. And as you all know, we absolutely believe pets deserve full bellies and happy lives just as much as humans do. 🐶🐱❤️

👉 So here’s a thought… what if we set up a Pet Food Bank here in Lincoln? A place where those struggling can come for help feeding their furry friends.

To make it work, we’d need the support of our amazing community 💕 – whether that’s:
✨ Customers who want to drop in a spare bag of treats or food
✨ Local businesses who could contribute
✨ Residents who’d like to donate regularly

We’d love to hear your thoughts…

We’d obviously contribute to this ourselves, but would rely on extra help too! So let’s see if this idea has legs… 🐕
