At Pooch-a-licious we understand that pets mean everything to you. MY name is Sarah, I'm the founder of Pooch-A-Licious established in September 2022.

I've always wanted to be my own boss, work my own hours and provide for my future family. I finally did it after a year and a half off work due to having my beautiful little girl Ivy-Amelia. Whether your working long or short hours, on holiday or decided on a day trip out. We at pooch-a-licious are here to help lend a hand for all pets big or small. We are a professional, reliable and fully vetted

business which covers Lincoln and surrounding areas. I myself have had experience with all kinds of animals over the years, from small animals to reptiles to farm animals. I currently have a 9 year old rescue dashund cross called Egor, who suffers badly with separation anxiety & isn't so friendly with other dogs. We offer a range of services to you, from dog walks to pop-ins to cat visits and also we have just opened up our very own pet sitting service:- this involves us staying in your home whist your away and looing after your pet. Thank you so much to all my wonderful clients for your continued support. Tuesday is always my busiest day of the week, and all walking slots have now been filled! 🐶💛

I'm looking forward to spending the day with all your amazing pups. If any spaces become available due to cancellations or changes in schedules, I'll advertise them here as soon as possible.

🌧🐾 Rainy Walks This Week 🐾🌧

The weather this week is looking very wet, cold, and dull, so waterproofs and plenty of towels are essential to help keep everyone warm, dry, and feeling their best.

We'll still be out enjoying our walks, but please expect some muddy paws and soggy coats despite our best efforts. A hot drink will definitely be my fuel this week! ☕😊

If you would prefer to cancel any walks due to the weather, please do let me know as soon as possible.

🐾 A Very Special Welcome to Our Newest Pack Members! 🐾

We're delighted to officially welcome Boris, Missy, Brexit & Fable to the pack! ❤️🐶

It's been wonderful getting to know these four, and they've already made quite an impression!

🐾 Fable is a super friendly, vocal little lady who always has plenty to say and isn't shy about sharing her opinions with the group! 🎤🐕

🐾 Boris is an absolute sweetheart who loves handing out his signature sloppy kisses to anyone willing to receive them. 💋🐶

🐾 Brexit is a big fluffy ball of fur with an even bigger love for belly rubs. If there's a tummy scratch on offer, he's first in line! 🐻❤️

🐾 Then there's Missy, our adorable little Chihuahua. She's a bit shyer than the rest of the gang, but she's settling in beautifully and growing in confidence with every walk. 🥰🐾

We're so excited to watch their friendships blossom and to share many adventures, muddy paws, wagging tails, cuddles, and sniff-filled walks together.

A huge thank you to their owners for trusting us with your precious pups. We can't wait to make many happy memories with Boris, Missy, Brexit & Fable as part of our growing pack! 🐾❤️

🐾 Meet Sid! 🐾

A big welcome to the gorgeous Sid, who recently joined us for garden visits while his family enjoyed a well-earned holiday. ☀️🐶

Sid is such a happy, playful boy and was an absolute pleasure to care for. We spent lots of time playing fetch, keeping cool during last week's heatwave, and of course enjoying plenty of cuddles along the way! 💚

With treats kindly provided by his family and lots of fun in the garden, Sid had a great time while staying comfortable and cared for in his familiar surroundings.

This was a one-off booking, but I completely fell in love with this handsome lad and hope to see him again in the future. 🐾✨

At Pooch-A-Licious Dog Walking & Pet Services, the health, safety, and comfort of both the dogs in our care and our team are always our top priorities.

☔ Light Rain
Walks will usually go ahead as planned, with routes adjusted where needed to avoid excessively muddy or flooded areas.

🌧️ Heavy Rain, Persistent Rain, or Stormy Conditions
If the weather is particularly wet or unpleasant, walks may be cut short to ensure neither the dogs nor our walkers become excessively wet. Spending prolonged periods in heavy rain can leave dogs and people cold, uncomfortable, and more susceptible to becoming unwell.

🏡 Indoor Cuddles & Playtime
If a walk is shortened due to the weather, the remaining time will be spent indoors enjoying cuddles, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of one-to-one attention, ensuring your dog still receives valuable exercise, stimulation, and companionship.

🐕 Every Dog Is Different
Some dogs love splashing through puddles, while others prefer to stay warm and dry. We always consider each dog's individual needs and wellbeing when making decisions during wet weather.

🐾 Welcome to the Pack, Monty! 🐾

Meet Monty, our adorable 8-year-old French Bulldog rescue 💛🐶

Monty may not have had the best start in life, but since finding his wonderful owners, he’s finally living the happy, loved life he deserves. With the recent heat, we’ve held off on walks for now — especially important for our flat-faced breeds — but we’ve been able to support his owners and give them the confidence that Monty will be in safe, caring hands when he’s ready to start his adventures with us.

We already know this sweet boy is going to be a very loved member of the pack, and we can’t wait for cooler days and his first official walk 🦴✨

🐾 Hot Weather Update 🐾

With today’s temperatures forecast to be extremely high, it will be far too hot for dogs to be walked safely from 10am onwards. To keep all our furry friends happy and protected, walks will only take place during the cooler parts of the day — early morning or later in the evening. 🌅🌙

All walks during warmer weather are carried out within shaded and forestry areas wherever possible, helping to keep dogs cooler and more comfortable while they enjoy their exercise safely. 🌳🐶

Hot pavements and high temperatures can quickly become dangerous for dogs, so their safety and wellbeing always come first. Thank you for your understanding and support. ❤️🐾

If anyone would prefer to cancel today’s walk due to the heat, we completely understand. If you would like to reschedule your dog’s walk for another day, we will do our best to accommodate this where possible. 😊

🐾 Smashed Another 2026 Pet Sitting Service 🐾

Such a lovely weekend spent caring for Amber & Bonnie, Autumn & Sookie, and the adorable hamsters Patrick & Belle while their lovely family was away. A crazy but loving bunch of animals who kept me smiling the whole time🥰

From daily 4-mile walks with Amber & Bonnie to playtime, cuddles, feeding routines, and making sure every pet felt comfortable and loved in their own home, it was a joy caring for them all 😊

Amber was quite a shy pup when I first met her, but over time our friendship has truly blossomed, and she is now so content and comfortable around me. Moments like this are one of the most rewarding parts of pet sitting and building trust with every animal in my care🥰
