Well done to all K9 students entering Paignton this weekend
In my Kcgc spec class I had some of my students
Angela/Heather/Diane/Kathryn/Charis

Although it might not have all gone to plan today for you all well done, you all came in and gave it a go. I think the nerves played a big part in some way today
My biggest well done I think must go to Diane and Ruby
Considering this is Diane‘s first dog that she’s gone from bronze all the way to gold and is now dabbling in obedience, it’s just brilliant and she puts the time in -super well done to everyone

Paignton & District obedience show 2\8\25
KCGCDS Special pre-beginners

Thanks you to Paignton obedience section (Kay\Sue) for the invite to judge.
12 entered and 12 worked
As this class is based on the KCGC bronze award the test was straightforward.

1st place Nora of Beacon handled by Lorna Hayes losing 3\4
Beautiful was my description of the heelwork with only a few small errors in the other exercises
Found out later this team has won pre-beginners yesterday as well I am sure there is a bright future ahead for them.

2 nd She's Uniquely Awesome handled by Kathryn Parkin losing 1
Awesome she was today I though this would be my winner before the above came in.
A few small faults in the heelwork and backward sit on the Finish were all i could mark today.
Well done you are definitely on the right track with her now.

3rd Eez Zactley Inee handled by Annie Dunwell losing 2
A few little errors in heelwork today and recall was a crooked sit and remember not to move feet on recall.
A big dog that was handled well by Annie.
Think my steward wanted to kidnap the dog !

4th Ilach from Zero to Hero handled by Debra Colling losing 2.5
Another nice team Zero was a little bit distracted today with faults on heel work due to inattention.
Crooked sit on recall. A team that continues to improve.

5th Barney Rubble handled by Val Skull losing 2.3/4
Won this after running off with 6th placed dog.
Few faults in heelwork but was better on the last stretch.
Recall was nice but the crooked and backward sits were costly

6th Mr Blue handled by Angela Bobela losing 2.3/4
Just lost the run off with Blue losing some focus.
Heel work was good just need turns to be tighter and a touch on the hand lost a point.
I think your nerves were getting to you but relax and enjoy it,

The remaining p!aces were as follows:

7th Cambrogan's Blissful Barca handled by Stacy Steven
8th Kenzie of the great Glen handled by Heather Millgate
9th Kerry of Di**le handled by Sue Adams
10th Mosquito Keep handled by Annie Abbot

Thank you to my steward John West (great as always) and the efficient table steward (Mick ?)

Well done to you all for having ago I hope you enjoyed it and keep up with the training
