d treat people as you expect to be treated yourself. I believe if you act with integrity, fairness and loyalty and are reliable and consistent in these traits you will be a happier person. So this is the approach I take with all of my clients and their pets. I doesn't cost to be nice or to treat people and animals with respect.

.🐾 Comfort Over Cosmetics: Grooming Our Golden Oldies 🐾

Meet Rosie! This beautiful soul is 13 years young and a truly cherished regular here at the salon. Like many of our beloved senior pups, Rosie lives with arthritis, which means standing for long periods or holding certain positions can be very tiring and painful for her delicate joints.Because of this, this lovely pup gets a dedicated Comfort Groom.

What is a Comfort Groom?

A comfort groom prioritises your dog’s well-being, safety, and happiness over a flawless, picture-perfect haircut. Our main goal is to keep them clean, healthy, and—most importantly—completely mat-free.Matting can cause serious discomfort and pull on their thinning, sensitive skin. By keeping their coat short, manageable, and clean, we prevent that pain and help them stay happy at home.✂️

Humanity Over Vanity!

When a senior dog is in our care, we work at their pace. If they need to sit down, take a break, or skip the loud blaster dryer, we let them. Because we choose their peace of mind over aesthetics, please keep in mind:
The finish might not be perfectly even.
The lines might not be completely straight.
They might look a little more "scruffy-chic" than usual!

But we promise they will leave us feeling lighter, cleaner, and completely stress-free. They have given us a lifetime of love, and they deserve nothing less than the gentlest care in their golden years.

One of the things I love most about grooming is building bonds with the dogs over the years. You get to know all their little personalities, and there’s nothing better than seeing them come in happy, comfortable and wagging their tails for their groom 🐾 I’ve had the absolute pleasure of grooming so many lovely dogs for many years.

On their way to the Wall Millie & Ted came into the salon for their The Stark Winter Coat - Desheding Treatment, which consists of deep clean shampoo, de-shedding mineral mud treatment, charcoal paw scrub and balm, Baltic Ember pawfume & a house bandana. They tell us they're ready for the Wildlings and the cold!!! Taken care of by Becky!
