Hello everyone! Well it’s been 2 years since we last posted! Can’t quite believe it! So thought you might be wondering what we’ve been up to since we left the farm. Well, it’s been a hard old slog but we are excited to tell you we have almost completed on our new diversification project down in The Cotswolds, just outside Cheltenham. We’ve been very busy over the past 18 months, renovating a new home for John and Rosemary, demolishing and rebuilding a new farmyard, renovating two grade 2 listed Cotswold stone buildings and building a new indoor pool. Our new holiday house will be available from March onwards and you can have a look at it on the link below and follow us on Instagram

With acres of space and oodles of old stone style, these two traditional barns in the heart of the Cotswolds are perfect for large family gatherings or big celebrations.

Well, not quite sure where to start with this,it doesn’t seem real that this might be our last post, but here goes....firstly, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to visit this weekend, wow, what a turn out! It was so so lovely seeing you all, especially seeing your children running around and enjoying the place where their parents got married ❤️ It really was the perfect send off and way to round off the best part of 30 years of weddings here at Packington. And to those that couldn’t make it, you were missed, thank you to lots of you that left lovely messages. The Oat Barn started off life as a threshing barn some 400 years ago, moving onto keeping livestock in there; the bar was the bull pen! Then in the 70s and 80s the crops were moved into the larger sheds and it was then that we started to use the barn to host parties and celebrations. The first wedding was in 1991 in a marquee in the garden, with a marquee lining in the barn for winter functions. 2006 we held our first wedding in the barn as you know it now. It has been an incredible journey and we are so proud of what we have achieved, however, we wouldn’t be where we are without you and we’re so grateful to all of you that put your trust in us to host possibly the biggest day of your lives, it’s been an honour. We have so many wonderful memories from every aspect of holding weddings here and it’s actually rather special that each and every one of you will be a part of our history and we will be a part of yours 💞
To everyone that has been part of the team over the years, we thank you for your dedication and hard work. Without you we simply couldn’t do it. Although it’s been tough at times we’ve had some laughs haven’t we?😄
And finally thank you to all the suppliers we’ve worked with over the years, some have been regular faces at weddings and pretty much a part of the team here, it’s been wonderful to get to know you all and see how your work helps to fulfil our couples hopes and dreams of their wedding day. And special thanks to the photographers and videographers that have captured their day, not only allowing couples to relive their day but helping to keep our memory alive, we’ll always be able to look back at the gorgeous photos and videos of Packington and see it in all its splendour and beauty.
So that’s it’s folks; an end of an era and on to pastures new (literally!) Thank you ALL once again!

We’re really looking forward to seeing so many Packington couples and their families this weekend. You are welcome to come anytime between 11am and 3pm both tomorrow and Sunday.
And just to note; a few people have thought we were serving afternoon tea, (sadly)this isn’t the case, just simply serving tea, coffee and soft drinks, hope that’s ok! And also for those that weren’t aware, the farmshop is also closed.

We want to wish our very last happy couple a huge congratulations for saying "I do" in our stunning Oat Barn yesterday. An absolutely fantastic day was had by all and what a fantastic last wedding for us it was. We had the pleasure of working with one of our favourites, Carrie Lucas Flowers, for our last wedding and as you can see from the photos she did a beautiful job. The arch looking stunning and the bridal party bouquets were absolutely gorgeous. Our bride Kathryn looked stunning in her lace gown and was beaming as she walked down the aisle with her very proud father to meet her soon to be husband Jordan. The festive spirit was very much alive as guests ate, drank and were very merry, especially at the end of the night. Take a look at some of the newlyweds gorgeous choice of decorations, we especially loved the Christmas themed wedding favours provided by one of Kathryn's super talented bridesmaids and the delicious wedding cake. We wish you both every happiness in the years to come and want to thank you for picking our beautiful venue for your special day lots of love from the Packington Moor team x

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Clay who we celebrated with on Wednesday! Our happy couple had put lots of thought into their decor which really showed on their day! The barn looked festive and classy with a navy theme! We hope you had a wonderful day and enjoy your break to Paris after Christmas love the Packington Moor Team x

On Friday we had Charlotte and Ben’s beautiful winter wedding. They were married in church and on arrival to Packington, guests were greeted by a delicious glass of warm mulled wine and canapés, followed by a 3 course banquet. We had a gorgeous time with the new Mr and Mrs Evans and their families, almost a week already since we were just setting up the barns for their big day; we hope you are settling well into married life and thank you for choosing Packington! Best wishes for the future to you both💞

On Saturday we celebrated with the lovely Sarah and Matt. They chose Pumpkin Events and Flower Design of Lichfield to dress the venue and it looked absolutely stunning! It was a great pleasure to host their special day and we wish them all the very best for the future as husband and wife 💕

A huge congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Buckland who enjoyed a gorgeous snowy day yesterday. The snow was a beautiful backdrop for their special day and we hear they had some amazing photos during the day in it. Take a look at the fabulous decoration they chose for their Big Day. There were fairy lights and candles everywhere, the venue looked stunning. The cake was a real showstopper for the guests as was the lovely sparkly tree centrepieces. Our beautiful bride Leanne looked stunning in her lace wedding dress and what a pro she was carrying it over all that snow, well done Leanne. A huge congratulations to Charlotte and Daniel, the new Mr & Mrs Lee for getting married with us yesterday in the Oat Barn. Take a look at their gorgeous decorations seen throughout the barn for the Big Day. We especially loved the candy cane and gingerbread favours and their spectacular showstopper wedding cake. As you can see our beautiful bride Charlotte looked absolutely stunning and Daniel looked super handsome next to his stunning new bride.
