This is a typical York handicap with a big competitive field........he really doesn't have his favoured softer ground but LORD BERTIE is fit and well with the help of a good 5lb claiming jockey so he's going take his chance and it's everything crossed for a good run.

Our boy is very ground dependant and we are desperate for a bit of ease in the going. He's fit and well and got an experienced apprentice on board so we could do with some rain on the course.

Second outing of the new turf season for this guy and he's in good shape, a bit more rain to soften the ground would be useful and we are getting 5lbs off his back with Cian Horgan. We would be disappointed if he's not in the shake up.
