Walk 50 Miles in memory.

Raystede’s annual 50 Miles in May is coming up and it can be a wonderful way to honour a loved one while helping animals in need.

This is a virtual challenge where we ask people to walk 50 Miles in the month of May. You can stroll a little bit every day or complete longer walks throughout the month.

Whether you walk for a cherished pet or a special person, each mile becomes a moment to remember them, to speak their name and to share the stories that made them unforgettable. 💙

Walk with love and sign up for FREE here: www.raystede.org/50MiM

Peaceways Garden of Remembrance offers a peaceful place of reflection and comfort for bereaved pet owners remembering their beloved companions.

With the arrival of Spring, we’re preparing the gardens for the season ahead and would be so grateful for donations of gardening items such as bulbs, plants, tools and equipment. These help our Peaceways team, along with the wonderful corporate volunteers who kindly give their time, to keep the gardens looking beautiful for visitors coming to say goodbye to their much-loved pets.

If you’d like to help, you can send a gift from our Amazon Wishlist. Every item makes a real difference: www.raystede.org/support-us/amazon-wishlist/

Only 3 weeks to go! 🪂

On 22 August 2025, Jeff (Manager at Peaceways), Sara, and her son Jacob are taking the leap for animals and people in need!

Jeff, Sara, and Jacob are taking the leap!

On 22 August 2025, Jeff, the Manager of Peaceways, along with Sara—who also works at Peaceways—and her son Jacob, will be jumping out of a plane to raise money for Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare and Peaceways Pet Crematorium—two causes that help both animals and people in need.

If you’d like to support their skydive (and the animals at Raystede!), your support, no matter the size, can make a difference. Every donation helps us continue our vital work rescuing, rehoming, and supporting animals, and providing comfort to families saying goodbye to their pets.

Our Peaceways Team, Jeff and Sara, recently visited Petributes who manufacture the wide range of urns, caskets and keepsakes we provide at Peaceways to help people cherish the memory of their beloved animals.

Jeff and Sara had a tour of the site and met all the staff who were so friendly and welcoming. It was fascinating to see their workshops and technicians at work and to talk about new products and ideas that they have for the future.

It was also a chance to wish Rick at Petributes a very happy retirement and say a big thank you for all his excellent customer service to Peaceways over the years.

Talks at 11am and 1pm. Find out more and book at www.raystede.org/PeacewaysOpenDay
