URGENT PLEA πΎπΎπΎπΎ
If you are feeding a Stray/Homeless cat and you notice any form of health concern, contact a local Rescue or Vet IMMEDIATELY... If you can handle the cat, please try to take it to a Vet for an initial assessment and Chip Scan. They will do this free of charge, and advise you of what to do next. Alternatively you can redeem an RSPCA code that will usually cover treatment up to Β£50... ANY sick or injured stray cat is eligible for this.
We had a Calico Girl brought to us yesterday who the finder had been feeding for about 2 months... to say she was in an awful way was an understatement... Our vet very quickly determined she had a large malignant mass in her mouth.. she was dying π.. We opted for a peaceful euthanasia as there was nothing we could do to save her.
Not the feeders fault at all but she said she had noticed blood coming from her mouth for a while and that's when she reached out for our help.
We cannot save them all but at least we can help to ease the suffering.
Don't be afraid to ask for help π
