JOB VACANCY

Wholesale Sales Representative

This is an 'on the road' role, driving an XL Wheelbase Luton Van, so a clean driving license with experience is vital.

With the wholesale side of the business expanding rapidly, we are now looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person to join our team and assist in continuing our growth. We are looking for someone for approximately 35 hours a week, paid hourly at a competitive rate also with performance related bonuses.

The role is based primarily out of our Soulbury site and involves visiting all of our wholesale clients in our 'warehouse on wheels', where they can handpick stock for their stores. As such the role of course involves a fair amount of driving, but building relationships with clients, a knowledge of their business and their preferences is also an important part, so strong people skills and customer service skills are also key. As keeping track of stock and creating invoices is also a part of the role, a good head for numbers and attention to detail are also required.

VAN THEFT UPDATE

We now have a little more footage of our Fiat Ducato being taken from outside the shop on Cherrycourt Way last Sunday afternoon at around 5.40pm.
This video shows things a lot more clearly, so if anyone recognises seeing these vehicles driving past them at any point, or recognises the Kia Sorento that is towing the van, please, please let us know!

STOLEN VAN - Fiat Ducato FV70 EEZ

Leighton Buzzard people, please keep an eye out for our Fiat Ducato Maxi Mover van. It was stolen from outside the shop yesterday at around 5.40pm (in broad daylight!). The van was locked, immobilised and had a pedal lock box fitted, so they knew what they were doing!
I know there's little chance of it being found or recovered, but we would really appreciate any help!
This is the 3rd vehicle theft we've suffered in almost as many years. We just can't afford to keep taking these losses... Whilst the van is covered by insurance, they won't pay out anywhere near the amount we bought it for only 7 months ago, let alone the value of the stock etc.
Heartbroken, hurt, upset and angry doesn't even being to cover the emotions at the moment

Say hello to our latest resident at Buzzard Reptile, this lovely lady is a Casque Headed Iguana (Laemanctus longipes).
She's settled in already, given her seal of approval for her enclosure and is feeding well...... She was even brave enough to hand feed yesterday! She's already a firm favourite amongst the team 🦎

This little fluffy Tarantula may look unassuming at the moment, however it will boast beautiful purple and black colouration as an adult.
This lovely Tarantula is an Avicularia purpurea, more commonly known as the purple pinktoe.
Like all species in the Avicularia genus, they are great for the first time arboreal Tarantula keeper and more seasoned keepers alike due to their temperament and being easy to work with.

We have several other species of arboreal Tarantulas listed on our website, along with terrestrial & fossorial species, both new world & old world.
