This post is made solely to raise awareness about the outcome of the RCVS disciplinary hearing in June 2025.

Over the past few days, we've been inundated with messages from pet owners some dating back many years sharing their personal experiences with Mr Michael Ng. (Now struck off for disgraceful conduct)

These are not our words. These are statements posted publicly on Facebook/Google/Instagram or sent to us directly, shared here with identifying details redacted.

While not all of these claims have been formally investigated, many of the themes are sadly familiar and were echoed in the official RCVS findings, which led to Mr. Ng being struck off the veterinary register on 19 June 2025.

We share these messages not to relitigate individual stories, but to raise awareness, provide space for truth-telling, and honour the animals affected.

This statement was posted publicly on a newspaper’s page.

It’s one of many voices speaking out since the RCVS found Mr. Siew Loong (Michael) Ng guilty of disgraceful professional conduct and removed him from the veterinary register on 19 June 2025.

We did not write this — but it reflects what multiple former staff and clients have since shared with us privately.

The RCVS has now published the full list of proven charges — covering dishonesty, record tampering, unnecessary surgeries on puppies, and operating without trained staff.

The RCVS don’t decide based on opinions. They review evidence, witnesses and follow a legal standard. The same one used in a criminal court.

Beyond. Reasonable. Doubt.

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) holds one of the highest professional standards in the UK. In a disciplinary hearing, the panel must be satisfied beyond reasonable doubt — the same legal standard used in criminal court — before finding a vet guilty of “disgraceful conduct.”

This isn’t a symbolic decision. It means the evidence was so strong, so detailed, and so credible that the RCVS concluded the individual should no longer be allowed to practice.

We are deeply grateful to the RCVS for the time, integrity, and thoroughness with which they approached this case. It took years of patience, evidence-gathering, and truth-telling to reach this point.

The official charges will be released publicly by the RCVS in due course. Until then, we continue to let the process — and the facts — speak for themselves.
