The Christmas puddings came out nicely this morning ❤️

Christmas puddings freshly made today. They are already on the website and will be ready for packing in the morning.

Lots of other Christmas items still available too 🙂

Another 10 filled Christmas bunny bags will be listed on the website tonight at 7pm

It's all systems go here at the Festive Oaticakes Factory 🤣

I am still on schedule to restock the Christmas shop at 7pm tomorrow ( Wednesday) evening 🙂

25/10/2026

Sorry for the lack of posts. Our cat is still admitted at the vets and I seem to be spending my days waiting on promised phone calls that never materialise!

I am trying my best to continue to make Christmas treats. I am hoping to have a website restock on Wednesday afternoon. There won't be more Christmas puddings that day but I hope to make more on the Thursday.

There will definitely be lots of banana gingerbread people. I know quite a few of you are waiting on those 🙂

I have made treats today. But we have a very poorly cat so have been backwards and forwards to the vets much of the day.

I will update properly over the weekend x

I must admit I was a little concerned this week when I saw the news. But fear not all is good in the world of Oaticakes 🙂
I cannot recommend Black Nova Designs enough if you are looking to get a website built. It's also so reassuring to know there are genuine humans that care about your business on the end of the phone if there are any problems 🙂

A quick update from Black Nova

You may have seen reports about a recent PHP security issue affecting websites worldwide. PHP is one of the technologies that powers many websites, and a security update was released to keep websites protected.

The good news? If your website is hosted with Black Nova, you didn't need to worry.

Our team acted immediately, applying all required security patches within the hour, with no downtime and no interruption to our clients' websites.

It's a great reminder of why proactive website management and reliable hosting matter. While others were and still are scrambling to update systems, our customers remained secure and online.

That's it I'm done 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Every single order from Friday/weekend is packed, has been posted out and tracking sent.

I'm surprised we are not banned from every post office in a 5 mile radius 🤣

I have a few orders that came in today but they will be packed Friday and either posted out Friday or Saturday morning.

I am now taking two very much needed days off. Tomorrow is my birthday. This is why the Christmas shop opened when it did, so I could get the mad rush out of the way in time to relax on my birthday 🙂

I shall be back making and packing on Friday with the aim of getting more Christmas items on the website the middle of next week.

Thank you once again to everyone who has purchased Christmas items so far and a special thank you to those of you that have donated to Clement rabbit rescue ❤️

Still going 🤣😍

20/10/2026

An early start this morning and the rain is making it so much easier, not 🤣
Steve has had to go alone as there is no room for me in the car! There are still 14 that didn't fit but hopefully we can walk them to the post office later if the rain isn't too bad 🙂
