The Transformation of the day was achieved giving Baxter his summer cut. He was a new man when he left 😊
Baby boys were having fun and tormenting the cats which Moo decided she was done with their silliness & told them off!
All this going on & the girls slept & Luna blended into the sofa cover to hide from the action.

🌟 March 5th 2026 saw our Crufts debut with Dahlia ! 🌟
We had a super day out, although starting at 5am and not getting home until after 6pm made it a very long day for us all. It was a huge new experience for our sensitive girl & a first trip for Katie who came to help be camera and support human to Dahlia. Even with such a huge venue big dog coped very well with the noise, crowds and hustle & bustle of the day, she met lots of people who wanted cuddles and to meet her and she loved all of the free treats she was given along the way!
Dahlia wasn’t placed in her large class of 11 entries so no crufts rosette this time but who knows , we may qualify again this year to be there again in the future?
Thank you to Becky from Bluebell paws and my dear friend Julie who shared the responsibility of entertaining the pups at home while we were away and they were extremely well looked after and kept busy in the sunshine !

First Aid qualification all up to date again.

JANUARY is the longest month of the year, it feels like 100 days long, with dark mornings til 9am and dark evenings from before 4 pm it is the hardest In Terms of battling the weather and this year has started just as expected, bitter cold, rainy days, stormy winds and mud ! Lots of mud! It takes a lot of motivation to get the day started and keeping up with the washing is a full time job on its own.
But we have survived it! I am hearing song birds singing at 6am and early into the evening on the dryer less blustery days, with bulbs poking through the ground spring looks like it’s starting its battle to take over winter!
The dogs have all been super, we have had lots of garden time, between rain storms, playing fetch and investigating the smells on the frosty fences from foxes passing through. And some naughty fence jumping from the terrible two!
Myself & Katie have updated our canine first aid qualification so you can be sure if your pup is unwell we can give the first aid they need to be well looked after & comfortable.
Hopefully we will be able to share more updates in finer weather watching the pups all enjoying themselves and making new friends along the way. But here is a brief overview of some of our residents enjoying a rare sunshine day!
