⭐ ONE SPACE AVAILABLE - 11:30AM ⭐ i am super excited for new clinic at green_lane_equestrian on Saturday 6th June. We'll be focussed on all things polework and how the riders position affects the horses way of going over poles.

🐎 Hannah will set up some simple polework layouts to test the riders balance, straightness, harmony, rhythm, suppleness, steering, accuracy and more - we'll then make improvements to the rider position and demonstrate how that improves the horses way of going over the poles.

🐴 Some of the issues commonly seen over poles (which Hannah can help with) include:
- Struggling to main straightness through a line of poles
- Rider getting in front of or left behind the horses movement
- Loss of rhythm over the poles
- Horses rushing or hollowing
- Poor balance from horse and/or rider
- Rider looking down and tipping forward in the saddle
- Struggling to make balanced turns into the poles
- Rider feeling like they are being bounced out of the saddle
- Stiffness in the rider
- Lack of stability from the rider
- Uneven rein contact
- The list is endless!

🀸 So come and join Hannah for this fun clinic and help improve your horses way of going over poles - they'll definitely thank you for it. Sessions are 45 mins long and are run as individual or paired sessions in the stunning indoor arena at Green Lane Equestrian.

πŸ₯΅ HOT WEATHER SESSIONS πŸ₯΅ I hope you all had a lovely bank holiday and are enjoying the sunshine?! β˜€οΈ if you are anything like me, you probably struggle with the heat and it doesn’t motivate you to work out!

😎 Thankfully my PT Studio stays nice & cool and with lots of fan power; we can maintain a comfortable temperature during your Personal Training sessions.

πŸ‹οΈβ€β™‚οΈ In addition to this; I can adjust sessions to reduce the intensity, provide more rest breaks, reposition fans, fill up your water bottles, reduce the duration, focus on mobility, have a more theory based session around nutrition and exercise.

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Classes - the same applies to my group sessions! Whilst The Studio does tend to be warmer, we can get some great airflow in the room or move the session outdoors if cooler. I will always adapt sessions to prevent everyone from overheating πŸ₯΅

Don’t feel you have to miss your session because of the heat, we can always adapt ☺️

🧠 A fun weekend learning about the joints of the hand and wrist on the Train Your Seat Shoulder Biomechanics Diploma (which covers jaw, shoulder, arm, wrist and hand). We focussed on how these smaller joints influence rein contact, feel and communication with the horse.

πŸ‡ It made such a difference when we embodied the true movement patterns, rather than restricting your natural biomechanics with restrictive cues, that we have all become familiar with.

Lots more training on this diploma, but it’s been great so far and I’m so happy to be finally adding this diploma to my Train Your Seat portfolio πŸ™Œ

These camps are great for experienced horse campers and first timers, the perfect opportunity to build confidence for horse and rider and have a fun filled horsey break! 🐴 😍

A fun couple of days spending time with your horses and like minded people, making friends and memories ✨

➑️ Ridden sessions: Rider Biomechanics, Arena XC, Grass XC and DISCO DRESSAGE πŸͺ©
➑️ Unmounted sessions: Pilates, Rider Fitness, Franklin Balls and Breathing Workshop

🚨 ANOTHER NEW CLINIC 🚨I'm so excited to have another new clinic at in July! This time we'll be focussing on improving the riders position for lateral work, such as leg yield, shoulder in, turn on the forehand, travers, renvers and half pass! We'll be looking at everything lateral work; how it benefits the horses way of going and how the riders position may influence the horses movement.

🐴 Why is lateral work important? Lateral work is a great way to improve flexibility, strength and symmetry for horses, engaging the hind leg, improving core strength and topline, better body awareness, balance and co-ordination, greater responsiveness to aids, improved focus during ridden sessions. Lateral work is beneficial for all disciplines and ability levels.

🐎 Some of the issues commonly seen in riders during lateral work (which Hannah can help with) include:
- Collapsing a hip or falling to one side
- Not knowing where to put your weight in the saddle during lateral movements
- Shoving with the seat
- Looking down or turning the head
- Uneven rein contact
- Unclear leg aids
- Losing rhythm
- Struggling to maintain harmony between horse and rider
- Gripping with the legs
- Losing the outside rein contact
- The list is endless!

πŸ΄πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ HORSE RIDER FITNESS SESSIONS πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ΄ Come and join us for these fun fitness sessions, designed for horse riders! In these classes; we aim to improve riders strength, symmetry, balance, mobility, body awareness, endurance, stability and more!

πŸ“† Mondays 8pm - 3 places available
πŸ“† Wednesdays 7pm - currently fully booked

πŸ’ƒ These sessions started as a fitness class, but became a supportive community where likeminded people get to chat about horses, make friends, support each other and be supported, challenge themselves, learn, improve their ability in the saddle, lift weights with confidence, see their strength grow each week, dance, smile, laugh, cheer, meet up outside of classes, go to events together, share life updates and fitness wins, plus so much more!

🀸 In each session we work through a warm up, mobility session and then usually a circuit covering the full body; with targeted exercises for chest, back, upper body, lower body, core and cardio. At the end we have a good stretch off. As horse riders, we typically have various injuries and exercises can be adapted for individuals; so everybody can join in and benefit!
