Today was a very very sad day. Today little Albert grew his angel wings and went to find our own Jack, Molly, Tilly and Bonnie at Rainbow Bridge.
Albert first came to me 9 years ago, in January 2017, as a tiny, scared little pup who had a thing about strange people. Albert had a very small group of his favourite, special, people, and I was blessed to become one of them.
He was such a little character, who touched all of us, even my hubby who shared a love/hate relationship with him......Jon loved Albert but Albert hated Jon (he wasn't one of his few special people)....or so he led us to believe....it was all a little game. Jon tried so hard to make friends with Albert, and the harder he tried, the harder Albert played the game.
He grew into the loveliest, bravest, most gentle soul who was loved dearly by all of us here at Little k9s. He was a cheeky boy who loved playing mind games (especially with Jon). He very quickly became a firm member of our pack, and part of our family, and oh my goodness he is going to be missed so very much.
Albert was a little fighter, a brave little boy, who brought me so much joy and gave fabulous cuddles. He has been in our lives through so much, watched our kids grow up, welcomed new dogs in, helped us when our own dogs crossed rainbow bridge, and been a pretty perfect house guest and family member.
We will all miss you Albert, we will miss everything about you, your cheeky ears, your puffing cheeks, the mind games, your beautiful face and your cuddles.
Thank you for the love and allowing me to be one of your special people, it was a true honour.
Run free at the bridge, you beautiful, special boy.
Sending lots of love to Albert's Mum and Dad at this very sad time and Thank you for trusting me with your special boy. Xx
