A massive thank you to my “Griffs Grooming Community”. Tin number 3 is full and I will be taking it to LOROS Hospice after Christmas, along with donations that I have been given. The chunk change challenge has been very successful along with the bandanas. It feels amazing to be supporting LOROS. Once again thank you 🥰
This year LOROS turned 40 — four decades of love, dignity, and exceptional end-of-life care. But instead of celebrating, we’ve faced one of the toughest periods in our history.
Rising costs, fewer gifts in wills, and increasing demand have created a serious shortfall. Heartbreakingly, we’ve had to reduce some vital services, including our Day Hospice, several ward beds, and physio and occupational therapy.
Yet even in difficult times, hope shines through — because of you. Your generosity has helped us continue caring for hundreds of patients and families when they need us most.
Forty years ago, our founders built this hospice on courage, compassion, and community. Today, that same community is our lifeline, and to protect hospice care for the future, we need your support now more than ever.
