Taking every precaution today to keep the dogs I’m looking after today cool:

Luna - is an escape artist and tends to escape the garden, so a long line is used on the front green, water bowl filled with water, front door open for her to go in if she wants some cool and making sure she stays in the shade.

Reggie - is very particular and will only go to the toilet out of his garden. So a quick drive to a green in the car with the air on on full blast for him to go toilet. And then a play in the garden with fresh cold water.

Please don’t take dogs out in this heat unless necessary some dogs are very particular and every dog is different.

🐾 ☀️ HEATWAVE DOG WALKING ADVICE ☀️ 🐾
With temperatures soaring across Leicester, it's important to keep our four-legged friends safe in the heat.

✅ Best times to walk your dog:
• Early morning (before 8am)
• Late evening (after 8pm)
• On shaded routes where possible

❌ Avoid walking when:
• Temperatures are at their highest (10am–5pm)
• Pavements are too hot to comfortably touch for 5 seconds
• Your dog is already panting heavily before the walk

⚠️ Watch for signs of heatstroke:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Lethargy or weakness
• Vomiting
• Unsteady walking

💧 Top tips for hot weather:
• Always carry fresh water
• Choose grassy areas over pavements
• Keep walks shorter than normal
• Take regular breaks in the shade
• Never leave dogs in a parked car

Oops… apparently when you’re busy running a business, you forget your own business anniversary 😂

Somewhere between the dog walking, replying to messages/emails and “just one more thing” moments… my business officially turned 4 on May 5th 🥹

FOUR YEARS.

4 years of learning, growing, creating, problem-solving, late nights, proud moments, challenges, amazing clients/customers, and somehow making it all work.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported me, trusted me, recommended me, cheered me on, and been part of this journey so far. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you 💛

And honestly? Forgetting the anniversary probably proves just how deep in the business owner life I am now 😂

From 1st April, there will be a price increase across some of my services.

All current dog sitting bookings already in the diary will remain at the same price. Any new dog sitting bookings made from 1st April onwards will be charged at the new rate.

Dog walking prices will also increase from this date.
