Today’s enrichment activity? Apparently… Combine Harvester TV. 📺👀

Who needs tennis balls or zoomies when there’s a giant machine making its way across the fields? The entire daycare committee unanimously agreed to pause all important sniffing duties and supervise the farmer’s work.

We’re not saying they’ve found a new favourite pastime… but we’re fairly sure a few of them were considering applying for an apprenticeship. 😂🐶

Current situation...

Me: Feeding dogs. 🐶
Feeding cats. 🐱
Feeding rabbits. 🐰
Feeding chickens. 🐔
Feeding guinea pigs. 🐹
Feeding the people that live in my house, who annoyingly seem to want feeding every day.
Walking dogs.
Cleaning up after everyone.
Trying to remember if I've eaten today... 🤣

Meanwhile, my work wife is somewhere topping up her tan, living her best life and pretending she hasn't abandoned me! ☀️🍹

It's been one of our busiest weeks yet, and I've somehow managed to keep the entire local pet population fed, watered and happy... ! 💪🐾
Can't wait for her to come back... mainly so I've got someone else to blame when I forget where I put the lead! 😂

Hopefully she's bringing me back more than just a fridge magnet... 😜

Don't mind me I'm off for a nap 😴

🐶 Bring Your Husband to Work Day 🐶

Today we celebrated Bring Your Husband to Work Day... and he was convinced he was reliving his rugby glory days! 🏉😂

Armed with a ball and surrounded by a pack of overly enthusiastic dogs, he quickly discovered that dodging Labradors is far more challenging than dodging a rugby tackle!

The dogs gave him a solid workout, stole the ball whenever possible, and left him wondering why he ever thought this would be the "easy job." Safe to say... everyone had a brilliant time! ❤️🐾

Who do you think had more fun... the dogs or the husband? 🤔😂

🎓📚 End of Term Report Season is Here!

Over the next few weeks, our Daycare pups will be bringing home their End of Term Reports... and let's just say, not everyone has been top of the class! 😂

Will they get an A+ for zoomies? 🏃💨

Or another note saying, "Needs to stop encouraging the others to bark at absolutely nothing..." 🤭

We’re saddened to hear that a local doggy daycare has closed its doors. 💜

Can we all just agree that these tiny flying freeloaders have absolutely no purpose?! 🤦‍♀️

One minute you’re enjoying the sunshine… the next you’ve got:
🪰 47 in your hair.
👀 12 trying to become part of your eyeball.
😖 8 up your nose.
👕 And at least one hitching a lift home on your T-shirt!

Even the dogs are looking at us like, “You booked THIS weather?” 🐶😂

If you see us waving our arms around like we’re directing traffic, don’t panic… we’re not greeting you, we’re just fighting for our lives against the thunder bug invasion! 🤣

📋 Staff Update:

Jeepy has been with the team long enough that he clearly feels ready for more responsibility…

This morning he took it upon himself to empty the cat litter tray. Unfortunately, he interpreted that as spreading the contents across the floor for “quality control.” 🙃💩

While we appreciate his initiative, management has decided he’s not quite ready for housekeeping duties just yet.

He’s been reassigned to his usual role of Morale Officer, Professional Troublemaker, and Expert at Looking Innocent. 🐱😇
