Katie's Dog Grooming

Today I met Roo! 😍
A 19 week old cockapoo (isn’t he adorable).
He came in for his first grooming experience and did amazingly well.
Grooming a puppy is all about introducing them to the different elements, but also keeping it brief and fun.
Roo was bathed, dried, had his feet and nails trimmed, and I found those gorgeous eyes again 😍.

I believe that dogs are like kids. Not just a family member or something to constantly tidy up after, with no concept of the money they cost you 🤣, but no two are the same!
Every one is different with individual needs. Whether it be a physical difference or behavioural, a dog groomer has to adapt to each one.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Daisy, after I was recommended to her owner.
As you can see Daisy only has three legs, after losing one a few years ago. She was such a good girl and almost insisted on standing up for the duration, so I had to actively encourage her to rest, as she’s also 15yrs old! She also needed extra support when trimming under her feet to keep her steady.

Looking forward to seeing her again in a few weeks 😍 🐶
