Do not soak your dog in water to cool it down in this heat
Soaking a dog with water causes water to get trapped between the fur, the sun then heats that water up and causes a blanket effect around your dog, which can then lead to heatstroke!!
If your dog is soaked best bring them in towel dry & put a cool fan on them, do not leave them outside in the sun to dry - this can be fatal!!
