We absolutely want to find Bentley a home and we are working our way through the applications that have come in. Thank you to those of who have enquired about him and filled in application forms. I am so hopeful this time we will find that perfect home for him 🙏🙏 we will update on his progress ****

🆘 I’m devastated to say that this will be the last post I will be writing about Bentley to find him a home 💔 if this does not end up in a suitable match offering of a forever home then Bentley will end going back to Cyprus 💔I have tried repeatedly for Bentley over the months and now this is it 💔💔💔💔

Bentley is 4 years old and in kennels in Preesall, Lancashire.

This is absolutely not the outcome any of us want, but what is the point in him staying in kennels here? We cannot find him a home and we cannot afford to keep paying for him in UK kennels. It’s already cost us thousands of pounds to keep him here as long as we have.

A bit about Bentley…..

👋 I’m Bentley and let me tell you about my life.

I had an owner in Cyprus but they kept me in a tiny cage and I rarely was allowed out 😩 then one day someone came and I could hear them talking to my owner. They were kind and took me out the tiny cage and to a rescue shelter. I was so grateful 🙏 I was still in a cage but at least it was much bigger, I got to come out each day, the cage was cleaned and the people there were lovely.

I was a good boy at the shelter and got along with my kennel mate Luna fine. It was ok there but I always dreamed of having my own home with my own family. I loved the attention that the ladies at the shelter gave me and I was sad to be put back in the cage and for them to leave.

One day the ladies looking after me started talking excitedly about a big trip and a new home. I didn’t know what it meant but it must be good news ☺️

The day of the big trip finally came. I was loaded into a crate and the ladies were crying and saying goodbye. It was scary being loaded onto a great big noisy thing with wings, along with lots of other terrified doggies. After a while we were moved from the flying thing to a van and after what seemed like forever we finally stopped.

A lovely couple had adopted me. Things seemed to be going really well and I was happy…. but they had another dog and he didn’t like me being there, maybe I was just too much for him because I know I can be a bit bouncy at times.

Sadly, I had to leave that home and then I was taken on another journey and this time I was to end up in a kennel 😩💔

And there I have stayed for many months now. I have been into a couple of homes that have fallen through 😩 I really don’t want to go back to Cyprus as it feels like I’m going to be further away from ever finding my own home 💔💔 I really thought the big trip over would be worth it, but it appears not 😔😔😔

Things I need for my next and final home to be a success:

🐶 A home without any other dogs

🐈‍⬛ A home without any cats

🧍‍♂️ A home with one or 2 adults only who have a quiet home without many visitors. I don’t need to meet the visitors, I’m happy to be in another room to them if they do visit

🤝 To meet my people a few times before going home with them

👂 People who will listen to the advice of the kennel staff 🙏

👦 A home without anyone under 18

🤗 I am a cuddly boy so I need to have someone willing to give me the cuddles I want and need 🙏

I am vaccinated, chipped and neutered and I have rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue

At 11-years-old, Underdog Woody has spent 10 birthdays with us 💔 Whilst we enjoy his company, we would love for his next birthday to be spent in a loving home 💛 Please share this post to help us get him there.

Dubbed 'The UK’s Most Forgotten Dog', Shih Tzu cross Poodle Woody hasn't lost hope. Described as ‘one of a kind’ and ‘the most intelligent dog we’ve ever worked with’, Woody is desperate for a family who can match his sharp mind and playful spirit.

He arrived in 2015 a worried dog, and it’s believed he might not have had the best start in life. Over the years, he’s done lots of training with his carers and has come on leaps and bounds. We believe Woody is likely overlooked due to some of his medical conditions, which are easily managed with regular medication.

Here is Woody's rather unique birthday wish list:
- An adult-only household
- A quiet, peaceful environment
- A private garden for sniffing
- No other pets, though he’s happy to walk with calm canine companions

🙏🏻SECOND APPEAL FOR RABBIT🙏🏻

This girl is really desperate to get out of kennels and have her own job to do 💪🏻

🐰RABBIT’S APPEAL🐰

We are appealing for a working home or an experienced home for Rabbit where she can get the training that she needs🤞

This gorgeous girl is Rabbit. She was sadly found as a stray and brought to us by the dog wardens. After her statutory 7 days, unfortunately nobody ever came forward for her and so she has found herself homeless💔

Rabbit can be nervous at first but soon comes around if you’ve got toys with you! 🎾
She does jump up a lot and it’s very clear she hasn’t had much (if any!) training prior to coming to us.

Rabbit isn’t coping very well being in kennels and is starting to loose weight so we are desperate for her to find somewhere💔

If you can offer Rabbit a working home or if you have experience with her breed please direct message us🙏

⭐️Rabbit is approximately 3years old, and is a female German shepherd.
⭐️We haven’t done any assessments yet with Rabbit in regards to suitability to be with other dogs or children
⭐️Rabbit is very toy motivated and especially loves tennis balls and squeaky toys🎾

𝗨𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹 - 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲

As many of you have seen, we shared some very difficult news about our Animal Centre last night. We are overwhelmed with the support we have received so far, and we want to thank you all for your kind messages, your generous donations, and for sharing our post to spread the word.

We have now launched our appeal, to help raise the funds we need to keep our doors open and to continue helping many animals in need in our local area. For many years, we’ve been a lifeline for dogs and cats who have suffered unimaginable abuse and neglect, providing them with veterinary treatment, dedicated care, rehabilitation, and loving new homes. But now, we are the ones in need of rescue.

Our financial situation is now critical, and without immediate support, we could be forced to close our doors, leaving countless abused and neglected animals without the care they desperately need. This is the biggest appeal we have ever done, and we are asking everyone, our loyal supporters, animal lovers, and the wider community, to come together and help us through this financial crisis.

I feel like we’re on The Secret Millionaire 🥹 We’ve secured up to £50,000 Christmas appeal match funding through Aviva. I can not believe it.

Thanks for all your lovely messages about our news 🥰

Please note I am now fully booked until after baby arrives. You can still sign up to the cancellation list on my website (these are rare but I will contact people if and when a space comes available)

If baby is running late, I will post on my stories on Instagram and Facebook each morning with spaces for that day. This will be from late June. You can turn on notifications for my stories if you want to try and get these early.

If baby arrives on time, I will be back mid august, but with less availability for a while. These appointments will be released in the next 4-6 weeks (once we’ve worked out what we hope our new normal looks like).

I have a couple of exciting announcements to make 🥁

First up, we are expecting our first (human) baby this summer and will be taking some time off between June and August. 👶

Some dates will be open during summer, but as nature won't allow me to schedule baby's arrival as accurately as I'd like, please book appointments from late June bearing in mind I may need some flexibility from clients.

Please also note that appointments will be unavailable for six weeks as I'm taking some time off to spend with my family. I'm expecting this to be July/early August but again, with some flexibility.

Appointments are currently open for June, so if you are likely to be due an appointment please check daily as these are automatically released most days.

Cancellations and squeezing people in is very rare as is, but please do not be offended if this becomes impossible given the pressures on my time.

In other, more current news, we have a new fur baby 🐶 who joined the Furology gang this weekend. He's currently too wee to say hi, but will be accepting cuddles and squeals of delight from anyone who asks in a couple of weeks. Welcome to the team, Rambo 🥰
