Although our business closed sometime ago on our move to Norway, we still like to support new businesses in West Yorkshire. So with that in mind I would like to recommend a new business in the Wakefield area. Abbie Spink is a young up and coming dog trainer who at only 18 has already represented her club for several years at crufts in rally obedience, with her two Staffordshire Bull Terriers she is a shining example of what can be achieved with the right approach with this fantastic breed. If you’re looking for a dog trainer or walker in the West Yorkshire area then look no further. She’s a young lady with a bright future in dogs who I’ve trained my own dogs with who I thoroughly recommend!

Today I said farewell to this old man Crash the greyhound, who I’ve posted many times before, I’ve looked after him for five years and admittedly grown very attached to him. Tomorrow he passes over the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his own home with Chris and Al by his side.
It’s been a privilege to be his mate and trainer. He taught me a lot about retired Greyhounds and what they’re capable of. I have missed him the last few months since I closed this business and it was lovely spending sometime with him today. Sleep tight mate. 🌈
Over the rainbow bridge you went I always new you were heaven sent, I will always treasure the time we spent. Until we meet again, run free. X

I like all the dogs I’ve had the privilege of looking after but anyone that knows me knows how much I love this old greyhound he was my first ever customer and he’s now 12 year old with injuries poor kidneys and bad breath, but none of that mattered this morning to watch him chasing this border collie around having the time of his life meant the world to me and he instigated it ! ❤️I will miss him terribly.

Now that all my clients are aware and covered I can anounce that from Friday this week we will be closing our doors in the uk. Our little business has ran for almost 5 years and in that time we’ve walked literally miles upon miles averaging around 50 miles a week sometimes over 60. We’ve trained many many dogs and made a lot of friends both canine and the human variety along the way, and worn out numerous pairs of boots!
I would like to thank everyone who has used the business wether just once or those that have been with us since the beginning. I’m truly grateful.
In a little under six months we will move to Norway 🇳🇴 where we may re-open. However this page will remain open for those people that want to ask questions and advice on dog training, choosing a puppy or indeed a rescue dog. So take care everyone thanks again ! One of the worst things to happen to pet owners who travel was the loss of the pet passport scheme when the country left the EU, politics aside whichever way you vote this is a massive loss to pet owners. We’ve just had a quote of. £1000 in vets fees to have rabies vaccinations and animal health certificates completed for our animals to travel to Europe previously it was a passport and your yearly boosters and biannual rabies booster was all you needed. Please take the time to read sign and share this petition for our government to renegotiate our membership of the pet passport scheme. Nothing has changed for EU pet owners they can still travel to the uk on their pet passports it was a failure of our government to negotiate pet travel as part of the withdrawal agreement. Let’s Get Back to UK Pet Passports For Travel into Europe!

This is buster. He’s a 3 year old terrier cross. Due to the owner sadly passing away buster needs himself a forever home. Buster isn’t well trained, he doesn’t have a recall, reactive to cats and some other dogs. Hes great with kids and super cuddly and friendly. He’s loosely house trained, but does on occasion mess in the house. Buster needs a patient and experienced owner who is prepared to train him from scratch.
Ok that’s his description warts and all. This little dogs new owners will receive full support for any training needed from me free of charge. Buster belonged to my sons father in law to be, who sadly recently passed away. Any prospective owners will be vetted by me.
